Covid-19 testing at Disney world?

Hi everyone, looking for a little help....

Headed down in 10 days, trying to figure out if there is a covid testing site on Disney property? My kids can’t go back to school with out a negative test when we get back so I figure get one done out last day and when we get home we should have the results soon after. Only issue we won’t have a vehicle so hoping it’s close so I don’t have to Uber or lift somewhere with two kids.

Nationally I believe you can get tested at most Rite Aids through the Project Baseline website. Check that. Sign up. Then grab an Uber to wherever you get in. I get my results back from that within 24 hours. Last week, it was 18.

There is a site on property but it isn't in a normal guest area near transportation, you would need to drive there. There are also some Walgreens/CVS locations near property but again, no Disney transportation over there.

I just checked and there is a testing center at MCO so that is probably going to be your best bet.

I forgot to add: I set our Rite Aid (drive thru) self-testing a few days beforehand. Plenty of spots. We went right after landing at the airport. Again- results came 18 hours later via email / PDF.

This past November we used Maingate testing site which is about a 5 minute drive from Animal Kingdom. We did take an Uber though on our AK day. There was no cost, no appointment needed and tested for travel purposes, all ages.

We used an otc test they sell at walmart and most stores. They are 19.99... we used it to return to work.

Sadly it looks like the Maingate testing site is closing as of May 15th. I guess our only option is to spend a ton of $$$ on a test at MCO.

Ugh I just saw that!! Dang... we loved the Maingate site. Good luck! Maybe there will be another alternative.
