Is anyone else trying to be more self sufficent like we are ? I would like to share The Pioneer women has some great homemade recipes.Her meatloaf wrapped in bacon is awesome!! We have been making our own bread and granola for months now. I like how it is not only healthier but we can change it up a bit if we want to also. I got the bread machine at Goodwill for $5 !!
We went to Walgreens the other day and a man was selling subscriptions to the paper. I dont normally subscribe but he sweatened the deal . 4 weeks of the paper for $17 + The around town coupon book was FREE!! So I made out good that day. Hope everyone is ready for a great weekend !!

And, on another topic, just wanted to share with my coupon train buddies that my husband had his 4 month post cancer (kidney) check up today and all tests were NORMAL! We were very excited for this awesome news! The SECRET Disney trip is ON!! Now we can get truly excited about it and really surprise our kids with an awesome vacation in June!

Just saw your post today...CONGRATULATIONS to your husband and family. That will be so much fun having a surprise trip.
