Happy Belated Easter to all! I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed day.

Occasionally I will watch an episode of Extreme Couponers. None of my stores double and I am always interested in deals they get. I was hoping someone could make a bit of sense of one of them for me.

One lady was saving to move to Hawaii. She stated she purchases 200 papers a week. Yes, 200. I even went to the website to verify I heard right. Even at $1 a paper, that is approximately $800 she spends a month to obtain coupons. Plus what she spends past coupons. What was really odd is she was gathering a stock pile to take with her to Hawaii. I would think the shipping, to ship everything, would really eat into the savings.

Anyone else see this episode?

I stopped watching the Extreme Couponing because I have seen so many stories that show they alter things just for the show. The stores agree to take more than the normal 3 coupons per item plus other stuff just to be on TV. I coupon every week and I normally save between $200-300 per month which I think is awesome and my pantry is full. I also give to other people too.

Received another envie today. It was delayed because --- get this ---- it was opened and inspected by the USPS!!! I guess they think we're up to some shady biz with our coupon train

I honestly think someone in the post office thought there may have been $$$ in the envie because it was slit opened a little on the bottom, too. Same thing happened with a thick envie my aunt sent me and I received today. It was a card envelope and they must have thought it was a card with money or a gift card and they slit it opened on the side to take a peek. Idiots.
