gandhmommy got my envie today.
Saved $3.78- Sally's Beauty Supplies
As a side note anyone who has a beauty adiction of any kind (mine has recently become nail polish) Sally's has a customer card that you pay $5 for but get a $5 coupon to use on your next purchase. My store always has a great clearance section $5-8 nail polishes for $.49- 1.99 and tons of other things. The girl who works there said their manager is really picky about not letting things sit around too long before they mark it down. You get the club price on some items (varies depending on the item) If you spend $20-$25 a month total in the store you get another 15% off coupon emailed to you.
I've only had it for the last 2 months and gotten quiet a few really nice/expensive polished for really cheap. Know the price you are willing to pay going in and stick to it. Know what the product would cost you at the Dollar Store, Target, etc. (There is no way I am buying nail polish remover or those cotton removal pads there. WAY overprices) A friend of mine is really big on splurging on really nice hair products. She went with me Friday and found some great deep conditioning shampoo (salon size bottle) and a anti-frizz spray both on clearance for $1.79 each.
If you didn't know now you do. Hopefully someone else will find great savings at their store also.
Happy St. Pats Day!
PS- I'm doing the
4 more days to Disney, 4 more days to Disney conga dance!! DH and I SOOOO need it. He is working full time and going to school 3/4 time (lots of late night school work for him) and our school has become a TAP school this year (don't ask- great program but TONS of work the 1st year), we are implimenting the new national Core Curriculum across the board in all subject areas, and have a new Math series to learn. Throw that on top of 22 kiddos, being the school's building level technology person, yearbook photographer and creator, tutoring, AND mentoring a new teacher. (Can we say
STRESS children. Please don't read that as I am complaining I LOVE my job, I wouldn't do anything else, I just seem to be the "go to person" because our principal knows I will do whatever we need if it is good for our school.) I've really been burning the candle at both ends and in the middle. Most days are 4:30am-11:00pm if not later. (I am really working on learning the word NO! Maybe I will be better at it next year.) This will be the much welcomed break from reality I need, even if it is only for 5 days.
Happy Spring Break to those who are enjoying now and for those who wish they were, our time is soon.
