Mailed a Flat Rate envie to you today. I was worried because I thought I was late. I stayed up until 12:15 am cutting out coupons (I had some extras from previous weeks too and some printables) and had them all ready to go. Just needed a flat rate envie from work yesterday. I was SWAMPED at work yesterday! Realized at 6:08 pm (supposed to get off at 5) that I hadn't mailed them!!! But I just now realized that the post office was closed yesterday anyway!! So, YAY! I am not late!

I gotten 1 red plum and 6 smart source packs of coupons that I found today in the post office today whenI went to mail your envie. this dosent include what my new train buddy is sending me or what my mom is sending me ( I dont get them till usually Thursday) soo just warning you ahead of time they will be sent your way!!
Saved $11 at walmart today with DD9 Aka small fry ( she had tummy issues today ) She found the automatic soft soap dispencer coupon I had clipped for $3.00 off. Walmart had it for $6.77 it was reduced from $9.77 so we snagged one. now i have more coupons for it and going to go back for more . very cool thing indeed!!

I work for a major Metro Newspaper, and every Monday we have lots of the SS, P & G, etc inserts left over. I can mail several copies of the entire batch to someone if that helps. We just throw them away at the end of the week

I am playing catchup on the boards and just saw this! If it's not too late, I'd love to be included. I definitely would be willing to pay for postage. I can send you some self addresses stamped envelopes or something....please let me know! Thanks

Whew! I finally just got caught up reading all 28 pages of the train. I have been so busy (with the holidays, busy at work, my son's double inguinal hernia surgery last week)....I have posted but haven't been reading. Even though I have my setting to email me with Instant Notification - this rarely happens. And I have found out that I have to actually log in each day in order to receive ANY notifications. Does anyone else experience this?

I finally invested in a postage scale.

What kind of scale did you get? Does it let you know if it's too thick? I'm so worried about sending one that's too thick (I send them from work, so I typically don't go to the post office) and then have it be returned or make my buddy owe extra postage. Because I'm so scared of that, when I have large envies, most of the time, I just put it in a Flat Rate, but at $4.95-$4.75 each, that's a lot of money. I wonder if I would save money by just putting them in a couple envies (which I have done). I just don't know where that breaking point is of additional postage. We have a small scale on our postage meter here at work, but there's nothing on it about thickness.

My post office has a piece of cardboard with a 3/4 inch slit cut in it that she slides the letter through to see if it fits. You can make your own by cutting a 3/4 inch slit in a piece of cardboard.
