So my dh decides to do the grocery shopping today as I am not feeling very well. We go thru the list and I say things like "I am pretty sure I have a coupon for that....make sure you check" and I have a coupon for ____ make sure you grab it." He says, I am not getting very much so I am not going to worry about the coupons. SAY WHAT?????? I was speechless...then I hear...."okaaay, so I will go ahead and grab those coupons before I leave." One of these days I won't have to remind him about the coupons.

I am scheduled to mail a bunch of coupons to LORIABIL on 2/22. I have a TON to send, and I'm very excited, but I am not sure I can pick up a Sunday paper this weekend. So far our papers haven't been delivered, due to the snow, but I am not kidding when I say I have a heavy load to mail off! I will check Sunday for the paper, of course, but I just wanted to give a heads up just in case. I have many to send, so I feel happy about that, but if we can't get the Sunday paper, I will get it when I can and hold it over until the next mailing!

my dh rarely does the shopping, but he would never be able to find a coupon to use. I put the coupons in a junk-mail envelope for him and write grocery list on the outside. That way everything is all together & there is no way to lose it!

I've mentioned in some of our newsletters that you can request that I don't switch your sender or receiver on the train if you've got a great thing going. Please keep that in mind for the future because if I'm not informed of your wishes, I have no way of knowing. I keep a notebook with specific requests such as "DNSS!" (i.e., Do not switch sender!)

When I used to clip the coupons to the list, DH's eyes would get as big as saucers and he would say, " I know I'm gonna screw this up! Maybe YOU should do the shopping this time since you know how to use these coupons! "

Now when I clip the coupons to the list, he just grins and realizes he has no choice and he'd better not screw it up.
