Couple of WL Questions

Ok, first does WL have a coin laundry on the premises? If yes, where is it located? We are traveling with my husbands cousin's family of 4 (we have five) and would like rooms that are either connected by a door or rooms side by side. Will this be possible? We already had our reservations made when they decided they wanted to go and made theirs later. Will this make a difference? Also, what would the chances of an upgrade for both of us checking in at the same time? Thanks for answering!!

First of all, have a great time at the WL, it is one of our families favourite WDW resorts. Make sure you ask about the family things going on -- especially the flag raising. Do this at ck-in.

The coin operated laundry is on the 1st floor. Its toward the left of the lobby -- looking at the lake. Its not far to get to whereever your room is located. Since its close to the main pool, do laundry while your at the pool.

As far as connecting rooms, they can't guareentee it but call central ressies (if that's who you booked with) and have it noted on your ressie. Then fax the WL your request w/ both names and ressies of rooms to be booked side by side w/ connecting doors.
Upgrades? are you taking free upgrades? Or you are willing to pay? This all depends on how packed the resort is when you arrive -- don't bank on it. If you want a better view, pay for it.

You can get connecting rooms at the WL but as noted above they are not guaranteed (but the failure rate on that request is extremely low). Another option you might consider is a 2BR villa at the Villas of Wilderness Lodge (right next to the hotel and part of the WL resort). That would give you two BR's, two baths, a kitchen, w/d in room, and a living room. Those are about the size of 3 WL rooms.

Washers and dryers run $2 per load....the dryers...(why is it)??...always seem to take two cycles...$4
Plan on taking your own dryer sheets and perhaps laundry "tablets"...(will save a bit of $$)....
