Couple going this weekend...where to stay?

Hello,

Happy New Year! How is everyone? We are a couple in our mid 30s wanting to plan a last minute trip from Philadelphia to Orlando this weekend.

We are flying in to Orlando airport on Friday night and will leave on Sunday night.

We would like to visit Epcot and either WDW or Islands of Adventure.

Looking for suggestions on where to stay, a nice chain hotel is fine.

I have elite status with HILTON so any of their properties is great.

We are looking to spend $100-$200 a night. We have AAA.

Do we need a car to go from the airport to the hotel?

From the hotel to the parks?

IMHO you are going to need a car with ONE possible exception.

There's a Hilton in Downtown Disney. If you can get it for the price you want then you probably can do without a car, but you will have to pay to get too and from the airport. And considering the cost/time deal there it's probably better to reat a car.

Opps... Disregard above. You have to have a car. With two days and both the Disney and Universal parks.. YEP!

The DTD Hilton is still an option. There's also a nice Hampton Inn in Lake Buena Vista that's well within your range. Isn't Embassy a Hilton product? There a couple of them with good reveiws.
