Can someone tell me some good counter service food places for lunch and dinner for DL and DCA? We will not have much time for sit down during our April trip and just need a decent place to eat quick and then keep going.

Thank you...

I like Red Rocket Pizza Port in Disneyland. In DCA there is the Taste Pilot's Grill (Hamburgers, chicken and stuff).

This is a Dole Whip float (the other is a pineapple spear!).

Dole Whip is a pineapple soft-serve dessert that is out of this world! The float is the Dole Whip on top of pineapple juice. Nothing beats this treat.

We always like Rancho del Zocalo. We grab the food to go (you have to request this when they're seving up your food) and eat while we're waiting for the fireworks to begin.

I'm another Plaza Inn fan - they have the BEST fried chicken!!! My favorite counter service place at DCA is Pacific Wharf Cafe, but the line there is often ridiculously long - longer than a lot of the attraction lines! So, yeah, Taste Pilot's Grill is probably your best option.

In DCA - the sour dough bread/soup bowls on the wharf & Whitewater Snacks
In DL Pizza Port & Golden Horseshoe.

You're going to get tons of different opinions. I'd suggest checking out the Dining Reviews with Pictures thread that is a sticky at the top of the board. That way you can get a visual along with opinions.

That being said, my favorites are:

French Market, Red Rockets and Bengal Barbecue in DL
Taste Pilots and Pacific Warf Cafe in DCA.
White Water Snacks in the Grand Californian, but it's very easy to get to from DCA. Just use the park exit right at Grizzly River Rapids, turn left and WWS is right there. This entrance is for hotel guests only in the morning, but later in the day anyone can use it.

Counter Services I avoid are Village Haus in DL and Pizza Ow Mow Mow (or whatever it is) in DCA. Had horrible meals there and won't go back.

In DCA, Taste Pilots Grill, they have ribs!! And the BBQ chicken sandwich is so good! Also there is a mexican place on Pacific Wharf...I'm drawing a complete blank on the name but it's good too. Over by a Bug's World behind PT Flea is a little stand, they've got a delicious Cesear salad.

In DL, Rancho del Zocalo is super good, Red Rockets has great pasta, and we always get a Dole Whip!

And we really like White Water Snacks too, they have good stuff, good portions and it's reasonable. It's definitely more like fast food though.....things like sandwiches, salads etc.

My favorites....

at Disneyland...
Pizza Port in Tomorrowland. You get pretty big portions for a good price. Love the chicken fusili (or however it's spelled.)
French Market. Beef stew in a bread bowl for me and fried Chicken for the husband. You also get a salad with them.

At DCA....
Pacific Wharf. Brocolli cheese soup in a bread bowl. The line may be long but it's worth the wait for us.

Slightly off-topic... on our last day we were at DCA and waiting for the Brother Bear Ceremony... and saw people eating these amazing looking corndogs... where can I get those??

yum, forgot about the corndogs, love them

In DCA you get them at Corndog Castle. It's in the Paradise Pier area right next to the pink dinosaur. They have regular corn dogs and hot link corn dogs (my favorite).

I want to see a pic of these "amazing" corn dogs!

That reminded me of another quick meal- the giant chimichangas at carts around the park. Those are good and cost about $4.
