Hi,

Would someone please tell me which counter service places currently service breakfast at AK and Epcot?

Thanks!

:)

Please correct me if I am wrong - but at Epcot EU used to serve breakfast. I think they still do. They also have a coffee/bakery place across from EU that at least has muffins. (Not sure what the credits are for DDP)

Don't have a clue about AK (never made it to that park before breakfast unless eating at Donald's!)

Thanks for the reply. But, no, they quit. That's the reason for my post. Sometime between June 2007 and November 2007 the bfast CS options changed for both of these parks.

When we went at Thanksgiving, EU no longer served bfast and Fountainview Bakery was closed. Sunshine Seasons was the only CS place open in Epcot for bfast...but my daughters don't like it....and since things change so often I was hoping there was another option by now.

For AK, Tusker House has changed to TS so I don't know if there *is* a CS option for bfast there anymore. :confused3

:)

Sorry I was wrong! :sad2: We stay at BW and usually hit the bakery on the way, so we don't eat breakfast there often. Good luck finding new restaurants!

Sorry to say that we didn't find a TS breakfast in AK when we were there. We did see a snack cart right in the front of AK that had large cinnamon rolls, coffee and juice though..........

It didn't even DAWN on me to ask if there were CS breakfast option! So there is NO breakfast in Animal Kingdom (other than TS)? I had been planning on eating breakfast in the park! Does anyone know when the WL CS opens up? Would we be able to grab a breakfast to eat on the bus on our way to AK? (Are we allowed to eat on the bus?)

I think (and this is only my opinion) would be the coffee stand just outside of the Animal Kingdom. Just to the right before you go through security.

It does not look like much; but has some of the best coffee offerings in the Park and some yummy Danish and sweet rolls.:thumbsup2

Thanks for the update - been wondering this myself. Was hoping to get to Epcot early, grab Soarin FP and then grab a quick breakfast. Guess we'll have to rethink that one.

Sunshine Seasons is still open for bfast which is in the same building as Soarin' so that'll work well for you. My girls just don't like it.

Don't know for sure, but the other Disney resorts we've stayed in the food court/CS has been open by 7. And yes, I've taken bacon on the bus......but I don't think I was suppose to. I remember one bus driver got very agitated with a group that brought cups on the bus.

:)

What about the Fountianview Bakery? Good coffee choices, plus pastries/rolls.

Yes you can bring it with you on the bus, my DH always has a coffee with him on the ride to the parks we pack some of the disposable cups/lids for coffee so he can have that extra cup without having to drag our resort mugs around with us all day. We have seen people eating snack type stuff on the bus.
We do like to stop at Sunshine seasons for a midmorning late breakfast of strawberry shortcake or key lime pie...:thumbsup2 but we have also had delish cinnamon rolls and the kids have even had cereal/milk there.

We usually try to eat a bite at our resort before we head to the parks.

I'm sorry to say that FountainView is now an icecream parlor - a good one; but I miss the breakfast and coffee there:confused3

The Pizzafari has a great breakfast pizza at AK. It is really quite good. :)

When can you get that? I'd love to try it, but they're not open for breakfast are they? I thought they were only open for the Sunrise Safari breakfast you get after the tour.
