Countdown For Kids Til Cruise

Hi. Going with my nieces and nephews in January on the Wonder. I was planning on making a countdown chart with them as they are young and have a hard grasp of time. Anyone have pictures of one’s they’ve done. I am an accountant so my creative juices are slim to none. Thanks!

I don't have pictures but what you can do is go to Hobby Lobby or Michaels or a craft store, get some 12 x 12 scrapbook paper (they might even have Disney themed paper) and draw a calendar on it. You can then add stickers counting down the weeks.

We did this the last 2 years and started out about 15 weeks so we had 4 months full of calendars. The kids loved it.

We also logged on each Saturday and looked at the webcam and said "In X more weeks, it'll be OUR turn to get on the Mickey Boat!!!"

This year is KILLING me because they don't know! But the fun I'm having in preparing their Christmas surprise is making it all worthwhile!

We made a paper chain with 1 link for each day remaining until our trip. Each day, the kids got to tear off a link until it was time to go.

i did the mickey heads and a paper strips the mickey heads are from home depot a scanner at home a printer and adouble sided glue pen and sissers and a marker to write the numbers

We also did the paper chain deal....really worked well for our DD's who were 5 at the time.
