Countdown Calendar?

Does anyone have any links? I'm so sick of winter I thought I would print out some kind of disney calendar to countdown the days till April. It would be really great if we could color it in but I'm desperate and I'll take anything. Thanks, Kim

Ooh - I don't know if you have a Michaels Arts and Crafts store near you, but at the one by me (that I'm the event coordinator at) we have these awsome vintage looking Disney books. There are 4 of them - One is Mickey, one is Donald, one is Pinicho (sp?) and the last is Snow White. What I was thinking of doing, was to take my favorite pictures out of the books, put them on foam backing board, and then somehow temp glue pull off dates ontop of them, so every day, we can pull one off, and see a little more of the picture. Maybe once I get it I will think of something else to do with it, but as for now, thats what were doing! Hope you come up with something fun too!!!

I make a calendar using the MS word template and use pictures that we have from previous trips instead of the stock pictures they stick in. It usually hangs at the bottom of the stairs. (On a side note, its very sad to walk down the stairs looking at a blank wall since we have no trip in the works right now)
Anyway, I get Disney theme stickers from the Dollar Store, and every day we put a sticker on the calendar. I don't go past the day we leave. When we're out of boxes on the calendar and stickers, it's time to go!
This is about as artsy-craftsy as I get. Somehow I was not given the "creative" gene when I was born. Or the sewing one. Or the taking-care-of-plants one.

My kids (6 and 4) had a great time drawing a Disney picture and then making a contruction paper link chain that attaches to the picture to count down the number of days to Disney. We tear one off on link in the chain each day to count down the days until we leave. We started with 46 links and are down to 26 already. It's been a great for them to see how much time is left until we go. They love to tear off a link each day and talk about how many days are left until our trip.
