Couldn't wait for the 7 so I got the 5n

I had ordered the 7 but changed my mind at the last minute to get the 5n. I have the OLED VF which I now love on the 5n. I actually use the VF tilted up with the body against my chest which makes it very stable. I also like that you can shoot upwards without having to hold your head tilted back. With the 5n my raw files are about 24 mb, what is the size of the 7's files? I shoot alot indoors so I often use iso3200 which I know the 5n handles better. Im not really a pixel peeper so I cant really see the need for 24mp plus I heard thatthe 7 really shows off the weaknesses in lenses. I've seen some great photos on these boards with alot less mp's. Look at Scott Sanders on the Nikon photo sharing board. He shoots with a Nikon D40 and puts out amazing shots. Also look at the photos that Zackiedawg puts up here with his A580 and 5n. FYE, look at his birding shots. He's got some great shots with the 5n + 55-210.

Justin, I just sent my la-ea2 and sal35f18 back to B+H. I played with this setup all morning and just couldnt get the focus to perform correctly. I had it set to af-s and selective point. The only point which i had good luck with was the center. The other points would front focus alot. It was acting like it couldn't differentiate distance. I was trying to focus between 2 objects to an object further back and it would constantly pick the front objects. The CDAF might be slower but i dont have any missed focus pontswhen it locks. My D5100 worked flawlessly when it came to focusing. For now, I'll stick with the kit and my manual lenses.
