Couldn't Believe It

We took our four girls out to Friendly's for dinner tonight. A lady was leaving and had a couple coupons for free kids meals and gave them to us. We were very grateful. We could only use one so I delivered the second to another family who was as grateful as we were.

I thought that was a kind and pleasant surprise.

Then when it came time to pay the bill, our waitress informed us that another family had paid our tab! I couldn't believe it. My husband and I are still speechless. I just can't believe the kindness and generosity.

I was at a drive through a week or so ago. My total was $5.40. The girl informed me that the car in front of me had paid my bill so I told her to apply my $5.40 to the person behind me. Its really neat when people do that.

I've done that before at Starbucks. I like to do that too. I've just never had it done to me before. Especially not as a family of 6 at a restaurant.

I do that every Saturday - I stop at Dunkin on my way to my volunteer job and I always pay for the person behind me-I just enjoy doing that. I had it done to me a few time too- puts a smile on my face!
When my daughter and I were on our cross country road trip we did it a few times in restaurants when we saw someone eating alone.
