Could you share your packing lists or spreadsheets?

Hi Disfriends!

We are 15 days out until our WDW trip; we are getting really excited! I have been throwing things I've purchased for our trip in our extra bedroom for a long time now, and I've gotten our luggage out, so technically, I've started packing. However, I'll be starting to seriously get things together over the next two weeks. We are flying from the midwest, staying for a week in a BLT two bedroom villa, taking the ME from MCO, and we are having groceries delivered. Since we are flying Delta, I'm trying to get as much in carry ons as possible, so we have as few checked bags (and bag fees!) as possible.

I'm a WDW veteran, but we haven't been in the parks since 2017, so I'm struggling a little with where to start in my packing process. I've seen many folks on the Disboards mention that they have packing lists or packing spreadsheets. I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to share their lists or their spreadsheets? Or, if the items themselves are too personal, could folks share their packing spreadsheet template, perhaps?

I'd be most grateful for anything folks are willing to share. Thank you so much!

I would recommend searching 'packing list' on the boards as there are many of these threads out there with lots of information.

@kerepka625 thank you so much for your google doc! @scrappinginontario thanks for the search words! I searched for "packing" before I posted, and I didn't find much. I will search for "packing lists" and see what I find.

Do a Google search for Disney packing list. I like the one from WDW Prep School. You can edit it in Word, Google Docs, or as a pdf.

We have a universal packing list we have developed for all types of vacations no matter the weather. I have in a Word doc. I would take all samples and then make a doc for your family. (Example: We don't have to take baby items so we omit. But we must take exercise clothes and running shoes.) I would take other's lists and customise for your family. I print out no matter the trip and we check off items as we go dependent on number of days, where we are going, and what we will be doing.

I keep my lists in my Reminders app on my phone and have four separate lists: clothing, tech, bathroom, and miscellaneous (MagicBands, Ears, etc.). I have the lists set to "show completed", so I can reset them at the start of every trip. The very last thing I do before leaving my house for each trip is to check them for 100% completion (which saved me on my last trip, when I'd forgotten to pack my Emerald Club card, because I hadn't kept it in my wallet since the start of the pandemic).

I'm sure it's on one of the suggested lists, but don't forget ponchos!
We had previously awesome ones, but they took up too much room in a string bag for all of us. For June I found ones on Amazon that can practically fit in your pocket and definitely in a purse. They were cheaper and worked just fine (my other ones were more comfortable but tore easily, these didn't tear, only one the arm widened and it was still very wearable).
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00M7NKPWQ/We did a pack of 20 (but they are currently sold out) to just have them on hand for future trips or other things.

We've never been in July, but did use them in June and really used them in August another year.

Have a great trip!! :)

Not sure if you have kiddos but the big item we always tend to forget are goggles if your kids like them for the pool. My kids won't swim without them so we always used to wind up buying more until finally I learned. The other big item we tend to forget is our phone and ipad chargers. I need to work on a list for our trip as well!

Another one we have forgotten is children's advil and that can be disastrous if anybody gets sick. For adults, moleskin is recommended a lot. I haven't tried it but Disney is a lot of walking so I could see it being useful if you get a blister.
