Could you fit a blow-up mattress in a moderate?

We are staying at POFQ in January with our 2 boys, ages 4 and 6 (turning 7 during the trip). When they get along well everything is wonderful. The other 23 hours of the day can be a problem.:rotfl2:

Seriously, they are usually on their best behavior during a vacation but by the end of each day it gets tough. The worst problem we have is when they share a bed (they both are restless when they are trying to fall asleep). We were actually considering POR and a trundle bed, but really want to stay at POFQ. I was thinking about going to Wal-Mart or Target and picking up an inflatable twin bed to put on the floor at bed-time. We can then collapse it in the morning. The question is, would this fit in the room?

we just stayed at POR abd I think the rooms are the same size, so you could put one on the floor. Imknow in the room we had one would have fit on the floor next to one of the beds

Best place would be between the beds for a blow up matress (twin size).
Then just place the matress up right in a corner of the room so mouse-service can make up your room. Up against the connecting door is a great place - or in the closet if it fits.

If you can swing the price of a junior size areo (or areo type) bed - it would fit great and easily placed in the closet (still blown up).
Discount stores like Target and Walmart sell them.

Target web-site-> Think Big QuickSet Buzz Lightyear Bed $49.99

Walmart web-site-> Disney's Pixar Cars Inflatable Lightning McQueen Bed $37.86

A twin-sized inflatable bed fit fine for my daughter when we stayed at POFQ last easter. Her bed fit comfortably between mine and the wall next to the room door. When we left for the parks we just leaned it up against the wall. One day we forgot to do this and Mousekeeping 'made' up my daughter's blow-up bed anyway. :thumbsup2

We fit a twin air mattress into the All Stars whcih have smaller rooms that the moderates so it's not going to be a problem. And you don't really have to deflate it every day and then blow it back up every night. Just leave it inflated and put it up againt the wall (the wall between the bed and the bathroom works great) during the day. It's not a big deal as long as you aren't using it for an illegal person in the room.

Nope. Just four of us. Two adults who like to sleep in the same bed, and two kids that don't!

We,ve done this many times. I have 2 boys who each have their own room and bed. Sleeping in the same bed would lead to sleepless nights for all 4 of us, so we bring our Aerobed (twin size) and set it up with no problem. We've done this at CB and CSR, as well as some deluxes. Have a great time!!!

7 of us shared an OKW 2br last time. The four adults got the bedrooms and the 3 boys slept in the living room on air mattresses. None of them wanted the sleeper. It was very easy to just stand them up in the morning.

We got ours at Wal-mart. I think the beds were ~$15 and the pump ~$20. One word of caution: once inflated, you will never get the air bed back in the same box! So pack accordingly.

We had an inflatable bed in our room at CBR this week. It fit between the bed and the door. We slid it under the bed during the day.

Our boys are the same way! When they were your kids ages, we each slept with one kid....now we use the air mattress. Works fine! We've done it at POFQ.:dance3:

Instead of a blow-up, how about requesting a roll-a-way from the resort?

We had a blow up mattress at POP earlier this year. We just propped it up against the wall in the morning so mousekeeping could make the beds.

There is plenty of room for a twin size air mattress..just stand it up against the wall during the day or slide it under one of the beds. But be sure to get a twin size because I do not think a larger one will fit except maybe in the sink/vanity/dressing area.

I just bought two smaller blow up beds for small children, with a built in pump. I also have small compressor unit I may take along.

One was a Disney princess and one, Thomas the Train. They were $20 from Sam's.

Sizes: Length-- 61 inches
Height -- 8 inches
Width -- 26 inches.

These should do fine for a 4 to 6 year old, I would think.
