Could you ever go to WDW resort and NOT go to parks?

Hmmm .. for us, that varies with how long the stay is. For example, this upcoming trip in July, we'll be there for 12 days. Right now, I've got 2 "chill" days scheduled .. but we'll see how it goes once we're there. We've made many, many trips to WDW, and ::knock on wood::: hopefully we'll make many, many more! I think this allows us the freedom to not rush around and try to see everything all over again, though I definitely understand people who do that, if you aren't sure if you'll ever be back again.

Living in California and vacationing in Orlando so infrequently, I could never do that.

My two most recent trips to Orlando have been on business and I wasn't able to even set foot on Disney property. And it absolutely killed me. The worst was having a balcony at the Marriot World Center that overlooked Pleasure Island. Both times I just couldn't get away. Ahhh, the sacrifices we make for work.
