Could you be married to dr oz

I have never had a Big Mac but I do have other vices..... maybe we'd even each other out.....

Oh yea....I could be married to Dr. Oz :lovestruc

Seriously, yes I could live with him, eat like him, and not cheat. I like the foods he suggests and could eat like that all the time if it were not for my picky family (all of them including DH). In fact, Dr. O had me from the moment that he suggested that red wine and dark chocolate were healthy!

Ok, I do think I would suffer if I could never have the occasional restaraunt meal....not fast food, but some good Thai or Mexican now and then, you know?

Maybe. I used to be a really healthy eater and exerciser before dh and I moved in together. I let my habits slide, preferring to sleep in rather than go to spin class or have a DQ Blizzard over a froyo. I still don't eat too badly, but I have a huge sweet tooth. I think Dr. Oz would find Reese's wrappers burried in the garbage can!

Married to him? Never! I find him so unattractive that it is hard to watch him on TV. To me, it looks like something squeezed his face together.

And some of the so-called advice he spews out is so over the top...

Poisoning your guests if you put fresh turkey back on the same plate since people have handled the platter while passing it around the table? And they probably have germs on their hands? So what is the last person to get the original platter to do? Uh, it must be contaminated by then right? So at the next dinner gathering, I guess we should all put on vinyl gloves or just 1 person wearing gloves will do up everybody's plate. Good grief!

Sure, he is kind of hot and some healthy food is good.

But if he annoyed me by complaining about my turkey I would put sugar in his coffee every morning for a week, take that, dear.

Yes, I could be married to Dr. Oz as I find him charming and very intelligent!

RE: Turkey. This is totally true. This is why restaurant buffets are the highest source of foodborne illness. You have many people touching common areas such as: utensils, plates and counters. We don't really pass platters around in our family, as everything is set in the middle and we handle it that way. Each person takes their clean utensil, and gets their food, or, one person dishes out to each person. There is no need to pass platters around for many people to touch and get germs on - he is totally correct here. Whether you agree or choose to follow is not the issue, but as a doctor, he is just reminding people of how to pass less germs around. Holiday gatherings are a great source of germ transmission, for many reasons.

Tiger :)

I couldn't be married to him because he talks a mile a minute :hyper2: and all in medical technojargon. :headache: I'd have headaches all day after listening to him and it wouldn't be from anything physically wrong with me. :headache:

I saw a pic of Dr. Oz and he looks like a cute keebler elf. I think hes adorable!

Not a chance. He's a know-it-all and I strongly question a lot of his advice.

It would probably be good for my health and if I were married to him, I'd probably follow most of what he said (because he's an expert and would know just what I ate, not because he's my husband!), but ewww...I can't imagine how I could ever be attracted to him.

I couldn't be married to him. He's a bag of bones and doesn't look too healthy himself.

I couldn't be married to Dr. Oz. I can't talk about Poop at dinner.

I could be married to his wife..........if I wasn't straight and already married to my DH. :lmao: His wife is vegan and so am I. I have never heard Dr. Oz declare himself a vegan. He has stated that he eats what his wife cooks but he doesn't promote a vegan lifestyle. In fairness, I have probably heard the guy talk maybe a half dozen times in total so I am not really up on everything he believes in.

And yet, amazingly enough, I have eaten at buffets and huge holiday gatherings too numerous to count for 47 years and have never had a food borne illness.

I'm fairly certain that the rule is that the less you worry about things like this, the less likely you are to get sick.
