Could we do this?

My family and I have reservations in July at POFQ with the Dreammaker Silver Package and the closer that it gets to our pay- off date, the more worried we become that we won't have it all 45 days in advance. Would it be possible to change our ressies to just the Dream-maker package and then add the silver add on right before we go? It's not like we'd be cheating Disney any, we just know that we have some extra money coming in the middle of June which is after our pay-off date. I'd really like to know if you all think this is "cheating" or not?
I know we will be adding the Silver add-on later because we want the magical wishes for our food and activities budget. (We have some bigger meals and some additional activities planned, don't worry.)

Did you book this package yourself or go through a travel agent? Have you called Disney yet to ask about switching?

If I were you I'd drop the silver for now, if you can, and then try to add it back when you get your extra money. I've never done a package, so I'm not sure how it all works... so maybe someone else here will have more insight.

we have not dropped it and added it.
But what i would do if i were you....just call and ask.
CRO would definitely tell you right. And Im sure that they wont care or "penalize" you cause this is what you want to do.

Dont even give them the ressie information...Just call and say that you just had a question, "If i had a silver and removed it, coudl I add it back later on when it close to trip time. ...."

or just tell them that you are worried that you cant fully pay ...so in order to pay off trip you need to do it.....and can I add it back on before we go....

They will prob make you pay for it all right then and there when you place silver back on it.
