I know how hard this is for you right now being so far away from your Mom when she is not well. I do understand as when my husband was battling Pancreatic cancer, my daughter who lives in London, was really feeling far away and sad......I am glad that they stopped your Mom's last treatment if she was that weak. Please keep positive that with what she had had for treatment, it is gone...that is how I get through most of my days......they operated on him, they got it all, they killed it with chemo and radiation and he is going to be fine from now on is my attitude and he was getting weak and they reduced his chemo. I try not to let those doubts enter my mind. It is pretty scary to watch a loved one be so sick and go through all those treatments...

Go out to eat, do whatever you need to do to get through your Mom's illness...take care of yourself too...DH will just have to deal. Buy some deli meats and he can make himself a sandwich if he does not want to go out and eat.

I am actually sitting here tearing up that every is so nice. Mom is actually going home from the hospital today-her counts are finally going up. She'll start radiation soon and hopefully, that won't affect her nearly as much.
As for me, tonight I am going to a scrapbooking party with a good friend to scrap and snack until the wee hours. I am sooo excited. I appreciated all of you, the dis truly is awesome!
