Hi! You betcha! However, you can't pay me ... I know what it is like to have an elderly loved one in a nursing home! I would LOVE to send her a card ... if you have enough bday cards, I will send a Thinking of You card! Let me know ... or I can easily send one in a few weeks ... you know, so she doesn't get them all in one week? Would her roommate like one also? Let me know! It is so fun to know we give someone a smile!

You got it Kath.. anything I can do for a friend and her Mom is a pleasure.. I was spared this time in my Mom and Dad's life as they passed way too young and I can only imagine how difficult it is to see them aging and helpless.. A card is no problem at all, and if it brightens her day, that is a blessing back at me.

Kath - what a wonderful idea! PM the info to me too! I hope that other DISers get the same idea. There are a lot of us who would love to send a card to soemone once in a while. My Mom is lucky - she lives with us and she has 8 attentive kids (well most of the time they're all attentive!) You may have sprouted an idea for others to come forward and ask for this little favor. Then folks can do it or not.
