It's been difficult to find a picture of the fold-out couch bed actually folded-out. Does it just fold down into a twin-ish sized bed? Or larger?

I'm just trying to figure who will sleep where, and wondered if the bed was big enough for a normal-sized 6 and 3 year old to share.

Thanks!

My son slept on that couch when he was 9 years old. It was twin sized.

Since it's twin sized, it's not very wide. So I don't know if your 6 year old and 3 year old would share it well. Whoever is on the outside might end up falling off unless you get a bed rail. And I don't know if those work on the fold out bed.

Hopefully someone will pop in with a picture so you can see what it looks like open.

I did finally find a picture as I went through the Contemporary photos thread - and it looks like you're right. Thanks for your reply!

Definitely not big enough for two kids to share. But if you have five in the room, two kids should be able to share the second queen and only leave one for the day bed.

It is a twin. It folds down but not out into the room like a full sized sofa bed would do. Definitely not big enough for two kids. Now if you are talking about the villas at CR, the studio villa in Bay Lake Tower will sleep two people. It folds out to a full size. :thumbsup2

Just FYI, Poly rooms only allow 5 plus one child under 3, so if you'll have 6 people and they are all 3 or older, it won't work anyway. Not sure if that's what you're considering or if you just want someone to have one of the beds to themselves. If you'll only have 5, maybe you could bring along a small mattress for the 3yo?

I appreciate the replies...it's not an issue of having ENOUGH sleeping space, really. I know it sounds a little silly, but I thought my 6 & 3 yo would think the couch bed was super cool...the 10yo is not likely to care. So it was just a minor planning question as to whether the younger ones could share the "fun" bed or would need to take turns.

Just tryin' to be over-prepared. :)

There really isn't anything fun about it. LOL ;) But my boys always fight over who gets to sleep on it so they don't have to sleep together.:upsidedow:wave2:

What about a full-sized adult? How much fun are they going to have on the pull-out in the CR rooms?

Thanks in advance.
