Cotton/Spandex fabric with iron-on's?

I have a question...

The shirts I bought from Target today are 95% cotton and 5% spandex.

I bought the Avery transfers for dark colors. On the package it says to use with 100% cotton. Will they print ok with the spandex or should I get 100% cotton?
