Costco Shame.......

Raspberry Chipolte. If only my local grocery store sold it in a smaller bottle!

I'd say Q-tips also, but we donated our stash to my DD's classroom last year for craft time. :goodvibes

My uncle had a computer, in the garage. Never used it, never opened it. And took it back after a year and a half.

Mikeeee

strawberry lemonade powder mix. We used up the dang carton this summer with a never ending lemonade stand (from 2003) and DH had the never to buy another one :scared1: I hate the stuff, but feel too guilty to toss it :sad2:

salmon seasoning one of those big tall canisters

Java - I thought this thread was going to be about the lady whose husband pooped in Costco:lmao: -I think it was Costco -do you remember that thread???

DH once bought a HUGH jar of pickles. It finally got thrown out..it took up too much room!!

cornstarch :lmao: Can't even remember what I bought it for. But now a big can of sauerkraut. We've used some of it for about 6 reubens, but now, we are reubened out. :confused3 Any ideas.

Sounds like a good time for pork and sauerkraut w/Bisquick dumplings or mashed potatoes :) . Or you could put it on hot dogs.

I just wish we had a Costco around here. All we have is Sam's Club, which is OK, but I'd like the variety. I bought a multipack of Lipton Onion Soup mix to use for roast beef or beef stroganoff, and I've still got several boxes a year later.

For us, it was a huge case of Kraft microwave macaroni and cheese. I don't know what I was thinking. My husband and I don't eat it, I bought it for my dd. Even she's sick of it now and I have about 30 of those packets left. I should give them away to the Trick or Treaters.:lmao:

Mine is weird, but garbage bags. I bought this SUPER HUGE box of them about 3 years ago, but they're a really weird size. Too small for the kitchen and too big for the bathroom :confused3 Every few weeks I give one to DS and order him to fill it with things (ie junk) from his room so I can throw it out. Or I'll use them after Christmas or a birthday party or something. They just won't go away though.

Each time I pull one out I hope it's the end........but there's always more

i bought one of these. had no place to keep it where it could be used. it weighed 300 lbs. (exaggeration) i took it to our church to use in the kitchen there. oh, well, it seemed like a good idea.

Britta filters.

I dont even know where the thing is anymore, but the filters cost so much I feel guilty throwing them out... so I just keep pushing the box to the back of the pantry.

I've thrown out too much Costco stuff. Our membership came up in October and I told hubby DO NOT DARE buy the membership again!
I have not missed it.

I still have about 500 fruit roll ups and granola bars. But we'll eventually use those... maybe.

Can you imagine if everyone on this thread went the "trick or treater" route??
Mom! I got trash bags, mac and cheese ,plastic wrap and sandwich bags!!!:lmao:

A giant vat of red vines.

I like them once in a while...but really did I need THAT many?

I also bought that big jar of saurkraut. I was too lazy to go to my local supermarket. I made kielbasi and saurkraut forever...used it on hot dogs....but at the end of the summer I had to toss it.

Plus it is in a huge glass jar..

but it was only $5 so I wasn't that upset

OMG my favorite candy ever! I could probably polish off the whole thing in a week.

Send those filters my way! I HATE buying them!

My guilty purchase is a big container of large sourdough pretzels. We ate and ate them until they hit the 3/4 empty mark. For whatever reason we lost interest. Now they are just sitting on the counter taking up space.

Also the 8 can box of diced tomatoes when I used 3 to make spaghetti sauce. So 5 cans are still sitting in my cupboard.

The 6 lb bag of pretzels took awhile but we got thru it, LOL. And the huge pack of spaghetti lasts me about a year, LOL. I have the other organic honey in my cabinet, unopened. (because they are 2 packs LOL) I just got thru the giant container of Nestea iced tea, I got it from a friend in March and I just finished it, and she gave it to me w/about 1/3 left LOL.

Sometimes I buy the big bag of fresh brocolli....we end up having brocolli for every meal, which does not impress my DH or kids LOL.

Lemon pepper. I think we've had it for about 9 years. Probably time to let it go.

During the holidays, I always pick up two cans of pumpkin, only use one. Now I've got 4 huge cans of pumpkin.... And I never remember whether I needed evaporated or sweetened condensed milk, so I buy one of each -- then have the other left over....year after year. Guess I should make a list, eh?

For the waxed paper sheets in the OP, I use them to cover food in the microwave....Maybe that'll help use some up?

Lemon juice, holy cow it's a HUGE bottle and it comes in a 2 pack!! I finally threw one out LOL.

I'm amazed and ashamed at how fast we go thru the Costco toilet paper though LOL!
