Costco September/October Car Rentals

FYI- If you are a Costco member, the prices of rental cars at Costco Travel are really low. You can get five vehicle types for under $200 (includes taxes) for a full week. Check it out if you are a member.

I was able to snag a mini-van for $312 for almost 8 days! Best price I have seen and can be cancelled at any time with no fees. So if you find a lower price you can change

I should note that my travel dates are the first week of October....hope this can help someone get a good price on a car

If you buy your membership an then realize you don't use it enough they will refund it any time during the year no questions asked

I am using Costco this trip and getting a really low price, but part of it depends on where you pick it up. We drive to WDW with the rental so it's not matter of airport pickup. But if I rent in my own town instead of the next one over the rate is typically $200 more.

ETA: I see you are from the 'burbs. If I rent in Westmont or Downers Grove the rate is higher. But if I go to Oak Brook or Lisle the rate is much lower. I have found this with all rental companies.

Yes, I am from the 'burbs. LOL. I am from Lockport and I grew up in Downers Grove. What a small world.

I think its funny that rental cars are cheaper in Oakbrook of all places, but you are right, it always depends on where you rent from.
