Costco Packages....did you know?

I just off the phone with Costco Travel...I went ahead and booked our package for November. I considered waiting until later in the year to see if WDTC / Costco Travel would have a better deal advertised but we wanted to get a head start on paying this off.

Here is something I didn't know: If you book with Costco Travel and then they later advertise a special (4th night free, etc.)...you can call them and they will honor the advertised price, even though you've already booked at a higher rate.

Just a heads up for anyone that uses Costco but is holding out for specials. :goodvibes

That is great to know, because I was waiting for the specials before booking :thumbsup2

Thanks for sharing. We are in the process of paying for a Costco trip as well.

If anyone notices a new deal, please share so we can all get in on it!

Yes, thanks for sharing. I never thought of it, but I guess that's consistent with Costco's policy of being able to bring back anything, any time.

I was amazed at how much more expensive a package was through COSTCO than booking it individually on our own. Same Hotel, (HOJO), same day parkhoppers (six days) it was over a $300 difference.

The agent at AAA acted like she had never heard of Getawaytoday.com

I hope you guys got good deals.

Thats odd.. Mine was the same exact price as DL website but Costco gave more extras

I'm sure the ET rate at HOJO's probably helped with ours. I didn't think the extras were worth the extra $300 difference it would have been for us. We already get one early morning, I did'nt care so much about the ToonTown magic morning or luggage tags.

I think if you stay onsite Costco or AAA is the way to go. But for off-site hotels the deals are better elsewhere.

For our most recent trip, there was not one package that was cheaper than booking hotel and park tickets seperately. All of the packages were at least 300 more (and the "freebies" with those were not worth that much extra). I priced both on and offsite hotels.
