Corridors In The Stateroom Decks

I was just wondering, in the deck areas where its just staterooms, ie deck 6, are the lights motion sensor or are they on all the time? Does it get dark at all in those inside corridors?

We recently stayed at the new Tower at Coronado Springs and they had those motion lights in the hallway...took a bit for me to get used to them. Some lighting in the hallway was there but you don't realize how bright the normal lights are until they come on.

Or, maybe it was just the electric service was on the fritz because the next morning all the power went off in the tower LOL!!
