Hello, Been doing a lot of reading but can't decide if I should put a room request in and for what building. My GF and I are going down in May. It will be the first time at CSR for me and first time to disney for her. We booked a standard room. Which building should i request? Also are there standard rooms with King Beds? or is it possible to get maybe a free upgrade to one?

Welcome shpdem

I was asking the same question. I understand the 1st pick up and drop are at Bus Stop 2, Casitas Buildings 1,2,3,4,5. then to Bus Stop 3, Ranchos Building 6,7, then to Bus Stop 4, Cabanas Buildings 8,9, then to Bus Stop 1 Main Building - El Centro. Sometimes during busy seasons the bus is full or standing room only when leaving bus stop 2.

Hope this helps.

I think you meant to say full or standing room only when leaving Bus Stop 1 and not 2.

There are king rooms in all sections, with or without waterview. We have been upgraded to a king bed on a couple of occasions, but it is not something I would count on since it is a bookable category and they could be all sold out.

Great thanks, I will call them and request those. I am guessing all you have to do is call the reservation line and ask them to add it as an request?

Yes, just call Central Reservations and have it noted on your ressie. Just remember, that it is a request only, and not a guarantee.

Does anyone know how deep the pool is at the end of the slide?

I remember being able to stand up and it being around my upper waist I am 5'3". I think I have a picture so maybe you can get an idea.

Ok found the pic. It says on the side of the pool I think 3' something. This is where the slide comes out. You can see the current from the slide and some guy just coming off of it. My daughter is there on the right side of the pic by the life guard. She is standing up and is 4'6" tall and it comes to her chest.

I hope this helps. Sorry it isn't a definant answer.

Did anyone have an answer regarding the bed rails? I'm trying to store everything in my brain for when we get there. A/c instructions, request microwave, etc. I already put building request on the ressie. We are heading out tomorrow for our first stay at Coronado Springs. Unfortunately, rain is forecast all week, but it's okay as I'll be in my happy place :hippie: and I'm cool with that.

Ignore my ticker, I updated it, but it doesn't seem to have held it. Oh, well.

:confused3
As much as I love CSR..... and I love the quiet pool....
Am I the only one that isn't that crazy about the Dig Site??:confused3
All the times we've been there I just can't get over the fact that I just don't like it.
I think it's the actualy size and shape of it. :confused3

Anyone else think the same thing??

I'm really worried about the whole size of the Resort!!! I'm getting excited but at the same time a little worried......It looks sooooo BIG! My Hubby picked the resort this time.....he fell in love with the place with just looking at pictures.....I just hope I'm not disappointed. But I must say, looking at the pictures....it is a pretty resort!;)

We were at the reosrt in October and I've never got around to doing a trip report.:sad2: This was our last of the moderate resorts to try with our previous stay at CBR.

The resort is more spread out in the sense the pool is no by the main building and shopping area. However it was very nice you can get food at the pool.

We were in building 3, Casitas. We were right by the main building and had a wonderful view of the fountains from our room. For us it was great!!!! We were directly across from the main pool and a quick walk to the main building.

It did not have as large of a feel to us as CBR. I felt like with CBR everyone was heading to the same "space". At CSR with the pool and main building apart it didn't feel crowded.

It really has a resort feel and the walks between area were relaxing with wonderful views no matter were you were heading. Plus you have your quite pools at your areas too so you may not have a huge need to go to the main pool often. We are there 11 days and hit the main pool twice.

The walk around the beautiful resort made it fell like vacation. It made me want to soak it in and say "I'm actually here" and enjoy every second. I bet you love it and the relaxing feeling it gives!!:thumbsup2

I would think that they would have bed rails. Just call house keeping and request them. I think I saw a picture in a trip report recently and the bed had bed rails on them.

Have a great trip!

Hi LeighAce, I was the person that asked about the bedrails and received a PM that you can get them. Hope they are not few and far between :)
