:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: That is great news that you still get to go. :)

Thank you, I'm sure I'll be asking alot of questions here. I'm really excited we are able to go b/c last year we had to postpone this trip 4x so I'm crossing my fingers. We already had our airplane tickets so I was hoping my husband would not cancel it and I'm so glad we found a way.

Sorry I have to ask a question that most likely has already been asked. But I saw that someone posted that the dig site pool is open 24hrs? Is this correct, it would be great if it is as I know we will have a few very wide awake kids at around 11=12pm at night due to the time difference in Australia to Orlando. Thanks for your help.

Not sure if this has been posted already. Today I called to make my room request for Casitas 4 or 5 and the CM told me starting next year there will be an additional charge of $15- $20 a night for the casitas. He said it really isn't to much. I said yeah not for one night but when you stay 2 weeks it adds up, oh well I can't wait to see if it will be worth it. :woohoo:

Yes, for next year, there will be a "preferred" room category that can be booked. I'd be surprised, though, if Casitas 5 is preferred - it's quite a way from El Centro.

I found this picture of the pool sign at the Dig Site with the hours of 8AM to Midnight. Enjoy!

Thank you, it helps alot.:goodvibes

I'm glad. We actually timed the buses between CSR and the parks and found that in the early morning (pre-rope drop) you tended to get there faster because there was no traffic. We had an early morning ADR at Ohana and got there in 10 minutes instead of the usual 15 to MK.

You should have a blast in Dec. :yay: and won't sweat nearly as much as those of us who went in August.

I know the rooms at CSR have a fridge - is there any way to get a microwave? My son likes his milk warm and the idea of walking to the food court at 5am just doesn't sound exciting to me at the moment so I'm just curious.

Thanks!

I have learned a lot reading all of this and I really want to stay here for our visit in May but I am torn because I want to stay at the beach club also. Ugh! I hate making these discissions. You guys have made me really want to stay here so now I am torn on what to do.

From what I've been told in this thread is that you can request a Microwave during check-in but it's a first come first serve basis. We will try to request one also when we check in.

While we did not request a microwave when we were at CSR last week, we saw the bell hop take two different microwaves to rooms in Cabanas so I know they can be requested.

The CSR has a limited number of microwaves for the rooms. HOWEVER, you cannot ask for one until you are actually there to check in. It is a first come, first served basis.

We've never stayed at the Beach Club (we've stayed at the CR and the Poly) and it (along with the AKL) are the only two deluxes we want to try some day. So I can see your being torn. I would say try the Beach Club if the funds are available and you can always do CSR another trip. Some people say it is hard to stay deluxe and then "downgrade" to a moderate or value. We didn't find that to be the case; we used to stay at the Poly all the time and then moved to the CSR and we've never looked back. Good luck deciding.

From prior posts, it seems a few people will be at Disney (and CSR) the same time as our family. We'll be at CSR Sept 14-23rd.

Our family of 4 plans to visit DHS on Thursday 16th and be there early before it opens at 9am.

We have a GAD voucher to redeem at this park for FPs. Since none of us are going to do ToT or RnRC - we'll be using all the "Donald" ones for TSM. ;)

If you would like to arrange to meet up with us outside the park, I would be happy to share the GAD FPs with you.

I can't guarantee more than 2 other people getting FPs, but have read that some CMs will give FPs to 7-8 people.

If we want to eat in our room, when I order the food at Pepper Market will they be able to put it in to go boxes?
Thanks

We order groceries from www.gardengrocer.com. $40 min. order and $12 delivery fee. I don't know if CSR charges for holding the groceries as it's our 1st stay there, but we've stayed at other resorts and there was no charge.

Is anyone decorating their room window at CSR? I usually bring some window clings. :goodvibes If I can find some Halloween clings, I might bring some along. Sometimes Walgreens has Disney themed clings.

CSR did not charge us for our garden grocer order. I called to see if it was there and they brought it right up to us.

I will be checking into CSR tomorrow morning! I'm looking forward to it! I hope it is great as everyone is telling me!!
