I was thinking about requesting a certain location, then I thought...I don't even care what room we're in, I just wanna be in Disney!!! With my no worries dining plan, and shipping little trinkets I buy back to the resort, and seeing parades, and looking at the decorations, and eating at fun restaurants...

Hello All

With a freezing -46 degrees Celsius where I live, I could sure use some Warm Florida sun about now!!! Dreaming of the day when we'll be there...I just think I chose the wrong time to go, I should have planned to escape this freezer, instead I am going in sunny, sweltering HOT August!!! (My son is in grade 8, and we just came back from a trip Sept 1-12, 2009 where the kids missed 8 days of shool. Sadly they can't afford to miss anymore school this year!)....
When you live in a cold climate, A sunny getaway starts to sound good about now!!
August will be here before we know it, I am sure! CSR is looking more beautiful by the day, and Kathy, I know I was waffling yesterday, but the more I think of it, I am leaning towards keeping as it is right now! You'll definitely be the first to know if things change, but the more I think of it, the more I would rather save the difference and enjoy CSR. I really don't think we would be missing/giving up too much by staying there... I need to use my head and I have to be careful with my money in this economy.... what matters most is that my son and I share some quality time together! And we'll be at Disney!!!
For that I will be thankful!

We will be at CSR in just 3 days...

First we have to deal with a snow storm in Buffalo on Wednesday morning when we leave

Need some good vibes for a forecast change!!

Eeeek! We're flying out Saturday morning, but at least we don't have to worry about snow. Lots of pixie dust the weather is good for you.

Just got back and we all love CSR.My parents first time, we are usually at OKW and this was a nice change,we were on the Magic after Tgiving and stayed here 4 days before.This was keeping with the Mexican theme of course.

Any questions? I would be happy to answer.

Courtesey of a friend, I have posted the most up-to-date menus for the Pepper Market near the beginning of this thread (where it lists all of the restaurants, etc.), as well as the Laguna Bar menu. I've also posted a new sign that explains the Quick Service plan at the CSR's Pepper Market.

Can you confirm that the tip is not included with the QSDP anymore, some say it is, some say it isn't - It certainly looks like it is now.

That I won't be able to confirm...someone who is there and using the dining plan will have to cofirm it (my friend does not use the dining plan).

They made it VERY clear to us that with the dinning plan you had to pay it yourself. I don't mind tipping (I was a server for years so I know what it's like) but they really beat it into your head, I guess they must get stiffed a lot.

Kathy, I wanted to thank you for all your tips on CSR we returned from our trip on Friday (12/4). It is so beautiful there, I just LOVED my early morning walks around the lake!!! If I ever get myself together I have some great pictures I can post. The only bad thing I can say about the resort is that the quick service at Rix was anything but quick; I don't know how they can have 1 person taking the order and making the food and the childrens meals at the Pepper Market were gross; however we only ate there once so it was no big deal.
