Hello Rosemary and welcome to the Dis:earsboy: DW and I stayed at CSR twice in '03 and really enjoyed it. We preferred a room near the parking lot because we had a rental car and did a lot of coming and going from hotel to parks, Downtown Disney, etc.

We are currently planning our Thanksgiving gathering with several relatives and friends, and were wondering how the rehab. of POR FQ are going and if any part of the resort will open early?
I know when it closed they said 2 yr rehab., that would make it the beginning of 2005.
Has anyone heard of a tenitive re-opening?
When were last visited June 03, it didn't look like much was going on. Infact the FQ just looked abandoned.

OOPs, I meant to start a new thread, sorry! It's very late hear and I guess i'm more tired then I thought.

Check out the resort FAQ's and photos at wdwig.com.

Cabanas 8A or 9B is convenient, but I felt the Ranchos section could not be beat for theming.
