I heard that if you purchase meals at Pepper Market "to go" they don't charge the 10% gratuity. Is this true, has anybody done it and if so, how does it work?

It is true. When you enter you simply tell them you are getting the food "to-go" and they will put it in styrofoam containers for you. After you select all of your meals you take them to the checkout to pay. They don't charge you the gratuity. We did this many times when we stayed there and brought the food back to our rooms or ate outdoors.

Approximately 50% of the time they actually ask at the entrance podium whether you wish to eat in or takeaway.

Pizza and salad to go is great to sit outside in the sunshine with.

I did not know this but now I'm glad I did!

Thanks!
