We were at WDW 1 month ago and had dinner at Coral Reef one night. I have to say I was extremely dissappointed in the food there. I have not eaten there in probably 5 years and I remember it being upper scale type dining and the food being excellent. The menu seems very limited. Not a whole lot of seafood as you would think. I ended up ordering a steak and I have to say I make better steaks at home on the grill. I do know ordering a steak at a seafood place is a no, no anyway but our server said they have the best steaks!!! I don't know if the changes have taken place since DDP has started or what. I do have to say that I will not be going back there again. All of our other meals were wonderful!!! Ohana X 2:love: , Chef Mickey, CRT, Tutto Italia:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

We just had lunch at coral reef and it certainly wasn't as good as I had hoped. My mother got the pork and was incredibly disappointed in her meal. I got the lobster salad and, though the soup was amazing, the rest was just okay. I really thought the meal would be much more special than it was. Maybe I just had really high expectations.

Years ago it was very good. It started to go down hill when they changed the Living Seas attraction to be more kid friendly with Nemo. The restaurant started to be more appealing to families who might not have know it was there before. The old menu had tons of fish as opposed to now. The DDP has made it harder to get a reservation. From what I have been reading I don't think I want to go back anyway. Although I loved sitting by the glass, you can't beat the view.

i remember having lobster tails there with my DS about 10 years ago....
