Coral Reef Restaurant - Diver/menu - Discontinued for 2009

I called yesterday morning and left a message, and today around 4:30EST Yvette--another manager--called me back. She is extremely helpful! I just sent the pictures for the menu to her e-mail address. :woohoo:

Thanks for all the great info. I read this and called. We got a diver for Nov. for my son's birthday. They have no idea we are going. They will think we are taking a road trip for my work. Until we pull into the hotel, hopefully they won't know. We will arrive the morning of my son's 7th birthday. I am so excited! I can't wait to see his face with the diver!!!!

I have to dig around to figure out what pics to send, but I figure they'll be of DD in her princess costumes through the years. We're going for her 8th birthday and have the diver and cake all set.

However, I am clueless as to what text to put on the menu. Yes, I could just label every photo, but that's pretty plain. Does anyone have any hints as to an appropriate poem or song lyrics? Anything????

Thanks.:goodvibes

We are scheduled this Tuesday for the Diver and Personalized Menu. Wanted to put my two cents in that it's not just Debbi that set's this up and I don't think the others are her assistants, I could be wrong but I don't honestly think so. I've worked with Alicia from the very beginning and she's been awesome. Just wanted to let you know you don't have to get Debbi.

Can someone please PM me with Debbis e-mail or tel number?

Thanks so much in advance!

Jean

I called Dining and was switched to the Disney switched board and then got connected to the Coral Reef. I spoke to someone Nicholas I think and he was great. Divers were already booked but he gave me his e-mail to send him so photos to put on a special menu for my son's 15th birthday. I just got an ADR for the Coral Reef today for 9/2 since our Teppan. ADR was cancelled.

I sent Debi my photos today:banana: For those of you who have already done this...did she send back a response?

How soon is too soon to book a diver? I have my ADR for MLK weekend in Jan. I don't want to be shut out b/c the diver is booked but I also don't want the info to get lost in the holiday shuffle

Once she receives it she will email you back to let you know if she can or cannot open the pictures. Give her a day or so.

Sure wish I had know about this last year--our meal was a dud so this could have salvaged it! Does anyone know is any other restuarants do anything like this--special menu I mean?

We booked our Diver for Dec about a week ago, and that's only because we were waiting for Debbi to get back from vacation... I don't think it is too early to book now for Jan as long as you have your ADR...better safe than sorry:thumbsup2

Thanks for the input :thumbsup2 ...I think I will call sooner rather than later.

Can anyone tell me how many pictures you sent in for the menu. Our trip is coming up and I need to email Debbie the pic for the menu but I can't remember how many she said would fit.

I just sent 3; Yvette said that 4 was probably the max that would fit because "the menu is 2/3 the size of a sheet of A4 paper". I'm not sure what the exact dimensions of that is, though.

When I spoke with Debbi a few months ago, she told me to send her 12 photos. :surfweb:

Would someone please PM me with Debbi's e-mail address. I need to get in touch with her about our reservation in 2 1/2 weeks. :thumbsup2

Thanks!!

:cool1:  :cheer2: I managed at last to arrange a diver and menu for our daughters birthday in Dec.It took 5calls and left messages but it was worth it in the end.:)
