Coral Reef Restaurant - Diver/menu - Discontinued for 2009

Alicia arranged our diver and menu in April and was wonderful! I also decided I wanted chocolate covered strawberries instead of cake. She said they had never done that but that they could. They did the biggest, yummiest tuxedo strawberries on a decorated plate (I would post a picture, but I am a computer idiot). I think I paid 35$ for the strawberries. She was wonderful and the whole experience was awesome!!

That sounds even better than cake! We will already have a small cake earlier in the week to celebrate my 40th bday (in Sept. but this is my bday trip.) DH is the lucky one who always gets to go to WDW on his actual birthday b/c of fall break! I've seen the strawberries ordered there--I think timandlesley posted?? on another thread--and they were beautiful, but I thought they would be much more expensive. And you could take them back to the room if you were too full. Yep, you've sold me--strawberries it is!! Thanks for the idea!

How did you order the strawberries? With Debbi or did you call somewhere else?? I agree that this would be perfect for us as well .... if we were full, we could take them with us to our next stop --- the Illuminations cruise!!!

I don't get it! We have called twice now to 407/560-6636 and have not gotten a call back. We phoned about 2 weeks ago and heard nothing. We phoned yesterday around 1pm and left another message and still nothing. We clearly left our name, phone number and reason for calling. What are we doing wrong? I realize Debbi is away, but I thought she had an assistant or someone else who would call back? Thanks for any info.

maybe call disney dining and tell the cm that your trying to get in touch with Debbi and that you know she is gone and the assistant has not answered your calls. She/He may be able to get you on the phone with someone who can help you.

I have been trying to special order a cake and the woman Linda has not called me back and its been a week, she has been out of the office and in meetings. I feel your pain

I called on 2/15/07 & ordered cake & dive for DS's 5th b-day June 18th. I called 407-560-6636 & spoke to Dan. He was great. I called around 3-4 pm est. & got right through. Here's some pics for you all:

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the cake! How many did it feed? I ordered a 12.95 Nemo themed cake for my DH's birthday and our 10th anniversary and am hoping it will feed 5 adults and one toddler. I called 407-560-6784 and spoke to Nicholas a couple of weeks ago and he seemed nice. I had to change my ADR to a different week and e-mailed Nicholas again and when I didn't get anything back saying he had changed everything, I called and got a return call from Alicia I think.

Summer- you will love the strawberries. We had them at our dessert party. I mean we had trays of them because the initially forgot to put them out. I can't remember if they tuxedo or not but they were good.

I think the decision was made not to post that info. Just call her again so she can verify the right info. I will be placing a call myself.

Also, I understand that Debbi is on vacation for another week or more, so you might want to call and speak to whoever is there. I spoke to Louis last week and he was very helpful. Debbi did email me back after my initial contact with Louis at the CR phone number.

What a great thread! I called the CR number after reading this, spoke to Louis, and arranged diver and personalized menu for our 21st anniversary in September. After I sent pictures, Debbi emailed me back confirming that they had recieved the pictures and that they were able to open them, etc. When I emailed her back I got an out-of-office reply that indicated she would be on vacation until the end of July.

thats exactly what I did I will try again thanks soooo much!! we have a grand gathering going the end of August and there are 2 childrens bdays in our party .I think both the kids and the parents will LOVE this!

The cake was a good size. They had ran out of cake boxes so we cut it up & put it in smaller to go boxes & took it w/ us. It was very good! Very moist & had a white creamy filling.

It would definately feed 5 adults & a toddler. Probably w/ some leftover. The white Mickey face is a piece of white chocolate. YUMMY!!!
