Looks like I'm not the only one making assumptions here. Actually, the trip I made last month was the first time I ever stayed in a Disney resort and the only reason I did it was because the DDP for one adult and two children made it worth it.

I apologize. I mistook you for someone else. You still have yet to address the other issues, which include name calling.

I just call a spade a spade. I never claimed that anybody who enjoys an expensive meal every now and again is a restaurant snob. I claimed that majortom is because MANY of his comments make it quite clear.

Coral Reef still offers the Filet Mignon at dinner. That part of the menu never changed.

If allears is correct, the filet has been replaced with the NY Strip for dinner also.

Since you have called me a snob and elitist several times, would you please point out exactly which comments make it clear to you?

One of us advocates for greater access to lower income people and one us wants to limit this to people who can afford to stay on Disney property. Which is the elitist again?

Looks like the menu changed just since I was there 2.5 weeks ago. Honestly, I'd order the strip steak over the filet anyway. It was large and absolutely perfect.

This thread has veered far from the original question and has turned into an argument between two posters, so it is now closed.
