Coral Reef - Nov 2005

I've heard alot of negative reviews for Coral Reef, but we decided to go anyway. All the pictures I've seen look really great, but I've heard negative reviews about the food.

Our experience with the food was EXCELLENT! We were just there in July and have nothing but good things to say. If you are on the dining plan, it will be even better because the value is outstanding! You will walk out of there stuffed! My husband had calamari appetizer, tuna steak for dinner. I had a salad appetizer and a steak for dinner. One of the kids had pasta and the other had a steak for dinner. They both had salads for appetizers as well. The butterscotch brulee I had for dessert was fabulous. The kids really enjoyed it too. The make your own sundae was great for them!
We were really lucky the night we were there because Mickey was scuba diving! I hope this changes your mind and gets you to go to the Coral Reef because we had a great time! :fish:

My family just booked the Coral Reef after previously not really having any interest in eating there. This changed when we checked out the menu again and saw all these great reviews, now were booked on the second day of our vacation for dinner. Only one of us eat's seafood which I guess will seem odd as to why we are eating there, but they follow other places in having the "usual's" that most places in WDW make. Well, we are all pretty excited as this is different then the usual Wolfgang Puck for us....

I was unable to get a ADR for the night we wanted in October other than at 4 PM which is way too early for dinner IMO. So we're going to see if we can call later and see if someone has canceled.
