Will be in Disney May '06 with two small kids and we will have strollers. Is it possible to bring into the parks one of those small (about the size of a toaster oven) soft-sided coolers. We would like to carry in drink boxes, sandwiches, snacks to satisfy my picky eaters as well as save some $$. Are coolers permitted? Thanks.

No problem taking any type of foods into the parks. Just no glass (except baby food jars) and no "hard-sided" coolers. Outside food IS permitted in the parks. It's not like, as someone suggested, they look the other way if you're going in with small children. No matter the ages of the guests, bring in all the food you want.

We've been doing this on our last few trips. We found a soft sided cooler that fits under one of our strollers. We bring in sandwiches, snacks, and drinks everyday.
It works out great for us. We have never had anyone give us a hard time about sitting down in the counter service areas and eating our own meals.
It is such a money saver!! and we can eat healthly foods instead of burgers and fries.
