Someone posted a link to this video on the Theme Parks Board and I thought it would be great for people with various disabilities.

It starts out entering MK, so you can see the entrance turnstiles, how to put in the ticket and do a finger scan. It goes on thru MK, filmed as though you are walking through the park. The interactive part is that when you get to an attraction, you can click the video and will actually be transported to a video of that attraction. Many of the attraction videos show part of the queue and a ‘taste’ of the attraction.
Don’t know how he did it, but it’s really cool.
I thought it would be great for people with physical disabilities who might be concerned about what the ride car looks like and how you board.
For kids with autism or other special needs, they could decide whether to ‘ride’ it not.

Even though it might look at first like it will just be one park, it actually hits all the parks

I am also going to put a link to this in post # 3 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread.

I didn't do the whole video yet, but this is unbelievable. The interactive capability takes it over the top. The narrator does a good job of getting you to navigate the video for you to get the best bang from it. The full screen mode is very good quality.

I do a lot of video myself and I can tell you this was no easy task to create and produce. This is a masterpiece. It's not perfect; there's some shaking and such at times, but that's to be expected somewhat when you are walking and talking and riding with the video on.

This will not leave too much to the imagination; so, it certainly will help to understand the rides better. I think it will be a great way to know if the ride is something you want to try or not. This will be a great tool for many.

Sue you continue to amaze me, here. Thanks for posting the link.

I so hope you post a link on the Theme Park Attractions and Strategies Board for this video, too. It's such a useful tool.

Being a person who uses a scooter, very interesting, want to view it again, thanks for the posting, I wonder when it was taken, being everyone is dressed with coats and sweatshirts, whenever, it looked like it was cold

Great video! Watched the whole thing with DS and looked at some of the rides, though he still says he's not riding any of them :sad2: It was done really well, only thing I would have liked to see a little more of was shots of the actual ride seats, you could see a few but not all of them. Still great though :thumbsup2
DS just wanted to watch the very end over and over again....not the fireworks ending, but the ending where he goes back to the motel. He said that's his favorite part, he just wants to go to Disney to stay at the motel  Uh honey, we could do that closer to home for a lot less money!

Hello . Poos ride I think he would like. They are bringing back the light parade so that would be a nice end of day event. The philharmonic is a nice show.
The muppets show is also a good one. Jungle ride is nice. Its a small world has special boats for wheel chairs you have to wait for them but not much time. They also have more than one on the ride. The bear jamboree is a nice show you sit in the front with wheel chairs. Forgive me if a assoumed about the chair. I had my sister in a chair and now my brother will be in one when
we come in December.

That’s actually where I saw it.
I thought it was cool, but also very useful for people who visit this board.

Maybe after watching enough times, he will decide to do some of the things because they have become familiar.

I have photos of most of the ride cars. Haven’t had time to post all of them, but I do have lots. There is a link in post #3 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread to my photo album on the wdwinfo site and there is also a link to allearsnet.com, which also has some ride car pictues.
