Cool new ways to spend $$$ at the parks...

These are everywhere in every Art of Disney.

They are limited editions and there are bigger versions for $39.99.

They also have posters. I understand that there are currently three and they "supposedly" are printed in much lower numbers than the figurines.

Gotta tell you....I dont get it.

I've seen the bigger version in person and they are vinyl Mickey dolls, nothing more.

In my humble opinion....they are butt ugly.

I want 20, please. NOT!

I'd rather collect Pez dispensers. At least they're not the same mold with different paint.

they look like wibble wobble from when I was a kid forever ago....the kermit one is pretty funny

Kermit is cute but I'm with Kevin, I don't get it...

Awwww, these are cute :goodvibes

They remind me of the Cows on Parade and some rubber duckies I have!

I agree they're pretty useless but I'm a sucker for things like that :rolleyes1

However I must stick to one collection at a time :headache: and I have lots of space to fill in my pin collection bag........

really cheap on ebay next month...

just the opposite. i saw someone sell 12 of them (half of a box) on ebay for $300. a box of 24 costs $250.
i bought a set and got them signed by the artists who painted them. at the Art of Disney they had pictures of what the next 2 editions will look like. some look really neat. the only ones out of this set that i like are the kermit, sorcerer mickey, and yeti.

Slap limited edition on something and it will sell :lmao:

They look like either bath toys or Happy Meal toys.

we couldn't get out of the Art of Disney at DTD without being mobbed by people trying to trade for some of our figures. If you buy them separately, you don't know what you're buying. The only way to be sure you get what you want is to buy the whole set. Needless to say, as soon as we bought the whole set, people were trying to get the Kermit and Sorcerer Mickey figures. We eventually traded one little kid a Kermit mickey just to get him to leave us alone.

Okay, don't flame me, but I think they look like what might happen if Crocs made mickey toys! :scared1: :scared1:

Don, do you wear crocs? I've been trying to get Paul to wear em. :rolleyes1

We saw these last week at the Art of Disney and I have to agree with the above posters that say they're weird/strange. I think they're just plain scary!! :scared1:

I think I'm in the minority but I really like those! Can anyone tell me how much the 24 set cost??

thanks
Xanthe

They are interesting. Most here may not like them, but I bet in a month, every collector will want these and prices will soar on ebay.

Aren't there pins with the same shape? :confused3 Now I understand the pins a little better.

Maybe if they were not vinyl they would be more interesting. I can just see my cat now getting a hold of one and sharpening her claws on them. No more Mickey vinyl statue thing.
