Arroz con chuletas (pork chops & Spanish rice). That or steak :)

That sounds good, you will have to tell me...I've seen "buns" in Chinese/Asian restaurant, and they are somewhat sticky rolls with things inside of them....

Maybe its that? Just thinking out loud... if that is the case, I;d love to know how to make that as well.....

Oddly enough, I cook a lot of different things, and DH's favorite seems to be spaghetti.

He also likes my red beans and rice, chili, and braided bread stuffed with ham and cheese.

Can we get some of these recipes posted on the recipe board? Thanks to CamColt for posting her Toll House Chocolate Chip Pie recipe there. It's a yummy dessert.

Ooo....good idea. I would love some of these recipes. Kahlua chocolate trifle, mmmm......

I can grill really well, and I make some good chili and pasta. That's what is for dinner tonight! (pasta)

It's one of my favorites as well. We fight over what kind of pork cuts to use. I prefer boneless and very fat free, DH wants bone and doesn't mind fat. So once we agree I just put season salt on those and either cook them in the George Forman grill or in a saute pan (depends on mood & how big they are)

The rice recipe came straight from my MIL and it does require some special ingredients. Those two are sofrito & sasson. I can buy the sofrito frozen or I make it myself (put one onion, one green pepper, one or two cloves of garlic and some cilantro all ground up in a food processor). The Sasson I buy at the store usually in an "ethnic" or "Mexican" area of the grocery store and I guy the one made by Goya.

So once you have those two the rest is easy. Boil up about a cup of water, sasson, sofrito and about 6-8 oz of tomato sauce. Add about a cup of medium grain rice (any other grain and you'll have to adjust the amount of water used) and cook on medium :) I also usually add in Vienna sausages cut up with the water/tomato sauce mixture before adding the rice. It takes about 20-30 minutes.

The best desert that goes with it is the flan recipe I have, although my DH prefers Guayaba (Guava paste) on munster cheese. That reminds me, I haven't made flan in a long time and could really go for some right now :teeth:

My DS loves my meatloaf (made with ground turkey). I always make it into some sort of shape and I think that's what he likes best. We've had a Christmas tree, turtle, cat, football, baseball cap, anything that goes along with what is going on.

DH likes the Bisquick impossible cheeseburge pie (also made with turkey). Another favorite is roast chicken. His family likes my shrimp scampi over linguini(very garlicky).

My older boys like mac and cheese and baked ziti.

I'd love the pina colada cake recipe.
