Since my trip in May is going to be for 10 days, I am going to be cashing in my unexpired portion of a 10 day MYW Park hopper with I believe 5 plus options on it and apply this to an AP. I have 7 days left on it and I didn't use any of the plus options, the money works out pretty much the same as if I purchased 3 more days. I know I will get the cash value to apply it to an annual pass. My question is, do they give me the cash value from last year's prices, or this year's prices?

Thanks,
Kim

AP are over 300$. And they don't give to many or much discounts.

Note that when trading in a MYW pass (used more than 13 days ago) towards an AP, the cash value is computed on a short rated basis rather than a pro-rated basis. That is, with 7 out of 10 days remaining, you get much less than 7/10'th the purchase price.

I don't know the exact formula or whether the starting point prior to short rating is a 2005 price or a 2006 price.
