I think what annoys my DH most about WDW is it's not a relaxing vacation at least not with me as his DW!!! I forgot about this till now. We had our laptop with us so my DH could do his work on his websites (had too) which that didn't bother me. We also had our digi cam with us and downloaded pics and sent them to our friends. The first night he sent off photos and I received many emails from buddies, many who are CMs from our store. One wrote..."remember, do everything while you are there, you can rest when you get home." And, we heard a woman on the bus with a minute by minute excel spreadsheet of her plans. After those two things happened...he figured I was low key. He also saw two cases of planning pays off...rain ponchos and also PS at Boma on Father's Day with a wait of 1.5 hours without one.
I would have been crying if I had missed Fantasmic! so don't feel bad. It rained so hard last time we were there, I thought for sure I would miss it, but the show went on when the rain stopped 5 minutes before.
Also, if someone doesn't know the songs, movies, characters, etc, I would think Disney would be..."so what's the big deal." I can't imagine sitting through Fantasmic! and not knowing who any of those characters are. It would be like me watching football when we first were married. Clueless!!
