Conversely, name a restaurant that gets too MUCH love

Coral Reef....for all the above mentioned reasons and more. So-so, over priced food, bad server and unfriendly employees at the check-in counter.

Jiko's....tho we have only tried it once ( last Sept.) we were not impressed at all. Maybe we hit a bad night...but they sat us at a table for 2 squeezed between two other tables. We both ordered their signature dish..the filet w/ mac and cheese...and while the filet was just ok the mac and cheese was dry and very under cooked ( not el dente...crunchy) DH's corn chowder had 6 kernels of corn in it. Our server was a smart mouth arrogant jerk. I really did not "feel the magic" at this place and would prefer Yachtsman any day.

DH has begged me not to make him go back to Jiko this year....so we will try Citros instead.

50's Prime Time--food not great--annoying play along skit--like being
in the Twilight Zone--hey maybe it should be located next to
the Tower of Terror.:rolleyes2

Chef Mickey (dinner) Gross, smelly food that every kid had touched before
you put it on your plate.:faint: Very Overpriced food.

Garden Grill--I still have not figured out how they can get
Catfish to taste just like Chicken Fried Steak--totally Yuck.:scratchin

LeCellier is our favorite restaurant. We've been there twice for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. I've read both good and bad reviews about it and feel fortunate we've had excellent food and service both times.

After reading glowing reviews about Boma, I was excited to try it. I found it overrated. While we enjoyed our breakfast, we didn't see what all the fuss was about.

Le Cellier--not that we didn't enjoy it. It was fine. But not worth $85 for 2 adult lunches and 2 kids meals with the fancy kid drinks. Food was quite good, but I didn't feel it lived up to the overwhelming reputation I read about when I was planning. Nope, not at all.

Wow, I love LeCellier and Coral Reef. I can't believe so many people dislike them.... Boma was a let down for me, liked the Zebra Domes but nothing much else.

Le Cellier. I like it very much but to me its not a standout experience.

My dd11 and I are big Le Cellier fans. But we don't go out to by steak very often, so maybe that's the difference.

We did not understand the hype (and how hard it was to get a reservation) at OHanas for dinner. Love breakfast, didn't like dinner much at all. We're also not big fans of Teppan Edo. Not bad, just not worth the hoopla on the Dis.

For us it was Narcoossee's.

We must have caught it on an off night because I always hear about great service... but our service was just awful. Our waiter showed up once at the beginning of the meal, once to take our orders, and once to bring us our food.

Wishes was near the end of our dinner so we went to go stand on the balcony and watch as our view was blocked. The server had brought the bill, so we left our room keys and purses to show that we were not dining and dashing... we would be back to pay once the fireworks were over. Well the waiter assumed that we meant to leave no tip? And when we returned from the balcony/porch, the bill was back, DDP credits taken, all paid. Even though we weren't overly impressed with the service, we were planning on tipping anyways. We went to the front podium to ask to speak with our server and give him his tip, since he hadn't come back to the table in about twenty minutes.

When we finally gave him his tip- 18%, he didn't even thank us- just took it, nodded, and kept walking.

We also weren't particularly impressed with the food... restaurant itself was quite loud, just really not the experience we were looking for.

Not sure if we caught it on a bad night or not, but we won't be returning.:confused3
