Convention ticket shipping question.

We will be attending a convention at WDW this fall. When I try to place my order for convention tickets, the only options I am given is to have them shipped. And since I live outside the US it is 25$ to have them shipped. Why can't I have them linked with my room reservation and waiting for us on our magic bands (which can't be shipped outside the US anyway).
Anyone knows how this all works? Don't want to miss the opportunity of booking FP+ because I am waiting for physical tickets to show up.
I know I can call Disney but thought I would ask here first.

I'm guessing here, but I bet your convention organizers are handling ticket sales. Disney probably isn't involved. If you could contact the convention people and make inquiries, that may lead to a better answer. All I've read lately is convention-goers are still getting their tickets the "old fashioned way" (via mail or in person on arrival) thru their convention organization. I don't think it's common for a third-party to add tickets electronically to MDE/MagicBands outside of those tickets Disney handles itself. We got ours recently from Undercover Tourist (discounted MYW tickets--not convention tickets) and they were same-old real tickets, mailed to us, that we added to MDE manually at home.
