Convenient or not -driving off site from VWL

So now that we're not likely to do DDP in Jan., I'm wondering if VWL will be terribly inconconient to our nightly offsite dinner quests? I'm guessing we'll go into town for supper only but am also wondering if OKW or even VAKL might be a better choice since we'll need to drive offsite each night?

VWL is about as far ONsite as you can get in a DVC resort, but it's really no big deal if you have a car.

SSR is practically offsite as far as restaurants go, and OKW is not far behind. BWV and BCV are right down the street, and AKV can't be much further.

What you are really talking about is the difference between a 10-minute drive and a 2-minute drive, but it's no biggie either way. It will take you longer to get your car from valet than it will take you to drive offsite.

Worry about something else -- this is a non-issue. You'll be fine anywhere onsite.

Totally agree with Jim. Easy to get off-site from any WDW resort, and really only a couple of minutes difference one to another.
