Continuing The Caylee Anthony Discussion Here - Thread #2

MY theory..she didn't see the ladies name at all, she saw her get into the car, wrote the plate number down and then asked her "friend" the police officer to do a trace to see who the car belonged to. Then she has the name, where she lives/lives and everything. Wasn't there a "friend" that was dismissed from the police force right in the beginning of all this? I always wondered why and maybe this is part of it.

A police officer was let go because he did not tell his superiors that he had a relationship ( of the 1 night stand variety with Casey. There was talk at one point that he may have been the cop who met the meter reader in August and blew him off.

Unfortunately, the only person who holds the key that unlocks the door to all the answers and will put an end to any and all speculation is..Casey.

And I seriously doubt she is gonna unlock everything that is needed.

so true...dont think she will ever crack....I just wait for the day she is asked to rise for the verdict..then her sentence...

She probably thinks it will never come to that. I bet if she does get a guilty verdict, the truth will come spewing out in anger.

I don't know much abut law but why does it take so long to get a trial? Did they say it might be 2010?

George has been released from the hospital.

I feel sorry for that man -- I hope he is doing well.

Probably because there is so much crime and the courts system is so backed up, but that is only a guess.

and he is back at home, not the best place for him at all.

NG said that they were releasing him to a hospital closer to home, but not his home........ I really hope thats what happened, and your info is wrong, because I think being home right now is the worst place for him. Between just being in the house, and being around Cindy, I think it may make him crack again. :sad2:

1 PM ET - George Anthony is finally released from a Daytona Beach, Fla., hospital after a suicide scare. Initially it was reported that George Anthony could be at the Halifax Medical Center for up to 72 hours. But in the end, he spends 11 days under tight security undergoing treatment. It all started when Caylee's grandfather sent several text messages threatening to commit suicide to be with the toddler girl. Previously the Anthonys' family attorney said George Anthony would transfer to a treatment facility near his Orlando house, but now reports emerge Anthony is back home.

from cnn.com

I had it on...was involved in other things....they did discuss the public memorial for Caylee next week...showed some old stuff and audio of Casey lying through her teeth....they did feature another case so it wasnt all dedicated to the Anthony's.
Her remains will not be at the public memorial, supposedly Cindy is planning the whole event, and no one is sure if Casey will see the TV coverage or not...

Did I miss anything..for those who watched better than I? lol

On the Today show this morning they had Casey's lawyers. They are likening the case to that of "The Fugitive" :sad2:

I just can't believe how all of this has played out. On NG last night, they were talking about people sending money to her in jail to cover her snacks and things. WHY on earth would anyone support her? They also said that she could make money to cover her defense cost by selling pictures of the baby. Maybe it's just me but I find this so wrong. :sad2:

One of the most important premises in the US is innocent until proven guilty. No matter what anyone thinks, she is entitled to her trial. Some people may think, me included, that Caylee drowned in the pool whi;le Casey was on the internet. Casey repeatedly tried on June 16th to contact both of her parents in a flurry of calls w/in a few minutes. Caylee may have been pulled out of the pool alive and Casey tried to revive her but couldn't, so she called her parents for help. Meanwhile, Caylee dies. Casey knows she'll be in trouble with the police for neglecting to watch Caylee, so in her panic, she begins a coverup.

If a jury goes in w/out prejudice, they may be convinced of either Casey's innocence- or may be just 1 juror because that is all it takes. The prosecution has been talking a good game but they have little evidence. A heart sticker? fingerprints on duct tape? garbage bags that match lot numbers from the Anthony home? a Winnie the Pooh blanket? All of these can be explained away by a good defense team. I've said before and I'll say it now-if I was on the jury with the evidence that I know about right now, I could not vote guilty because I'd have more than reasonable doubt.

I guess I believe instead of a fluury of calls to parents 1 call to 911 should have been done unless that child did not drown in pool. And her actions speak alot louder than words. I guess I'm not seeing the Casey Anthony you are seeing. They say she is sane. But as I've said before if she loved that child she could not have gone on with her partying for a month knowing what she had done, whether it be drowning or taping her mouth shut and I can almost guarantee prosecution has evidence we do not know about. Tape around skull reasonable doubt, not in my book. JMHO

I visualize everything I read....oh...again, that poor baby....

It was deliberate.....if that poor baby was ALREADY dead, why the tape around the mouth, so I dont think it was an accident. SOme days I have to step away, think today is one of them:)
