Continuing The Caylee Anthony Discussion Here - Thread #2

I can't believe CNN headline news is showing this entire memorial.
I am just thinking of all the poor children who die or are killed each year, they are lucky if they get a story on their local news.

This is not to take away from the true and deep mourning of this innocent childs murder.

It's just suprising that CNN a news channel would show this entire memorial. Which has at times given a forum to her parents and brother giving a forum to Casey.

Now... please forgive me if this question has been asked before and please direct me to the answer. But NOONE knows anything about the father's family or who the father was? I've had friends who the father had no part in the childs life, but everyone knew who he was. And the parents sent a gift to the child each year at holidays and birthdays. So while they were not active in the daily life of the child their presence was at least known.

What's the deal with Caylee's father? Who is he? Surely one of Caseys good girlfriends know.

Why do you think the Anthony's are holding this memorial for the public? I think it's a nice gesture for all the people who helped search for the poor little baby. I know there is a lot of criticism about them having it public with the TV broadcasting it and everything.

Whoa babey! Did you just see Nancy Grace talking about how Casey's brother Lee was sending a message to Casey when he spoke at the pulpit?
I thought it was weird that He kept saying.. CMA.. CMA..
Then Nancy replayed it and it does seem like a message.

I wondered why he said.. CMA..i am so proud of you..and i hope you are proud of me. CMA.. i love you... CMA...everyday you teach me how to live strong and weak...CMA...i will keep my promise to you.

prettyprincessbelle.. i would like to think it's a public memorial for all who cared for caylee..but i think it's more a public campaign for the anthony family.. why would the grandmother put that "ad" in the paper?

Casey said Caylee father died in a car wreck going to Caylees bd party BUT as her usual habitual lying he died aorund Easter. I'd have to doulble check the date. But there are so many others that could've been. And the public memorial was also for ALL of us that have become so attached to little Caylee over the past 7months, to mourn also. It is horrible for any child to be murdered and I cry and pray for them everytime I hear of another murder. Alot of us have been on here since Cindy Anthony 1st called police after Casey went partying for a month before she told her parents Caylee had been missing for a month. It was disgusting. Her out dancing and partying it up while she said she didn't know where Caylee was. She has lied from the very beginning to police about her job (which she didn't have) and everything. This has taken a toll on everyone of us. I just hope Casey gets what is coming to her.

That guy that died in the car accident, just like every other story that Casey has told, is just a story. They found out that he wasnt the father either. Only she knows who the real father is and she isnt talking. At least talking the truth. With as many men as she has had, she might not even know the real father.

Ok, thanks. I didnt know what it was. I thought maybee the anitials was her name too but I guess not. But it still could be a message of some kind. Who knows, Its just unusual that if your really close to someone, you call them by their anitials instead of their real name. Weird.

I watched the Lee portion played again, I think he was refering to Caylee.

Both Casey and Caylee had the same middle name of Marie.

I thought Lee's CMA thing was creepy, but that's just me.

Disney kid at heart... i too prayed for Caylee's safe return. However from the beginning it felt that wouldn't happen, for the sole reason of her mother, Casey's behavior.

How disgusting Casey was out partying while her daughter was missing. You know why she could do that when You or I or Any other mother on the planet would be frantic with fear and worry, because Casey already knew Caylee was dead. Poor babygirl.

I never gave a second thought to Lee being the father of Caylee until i heard him speak today and I do believe that He was speaking to Casey, not speaking in reference to Caylee.

Why does Caylee's name have both Casey and Lee's in it?

prettyprincessbelle..it's so good to see you again.. we normally are in the same posts over on the disneyland side.. maybe next year you will go on the girls only trip... i'm going this year for the first time.

Cnn reported that noone was allowed in the service with cameras, cell phones and all purses were checked. Does anyone know if the memorial was shown on any other channel or was it only on cnn headline news?

I wonder if they had a deal to show it exclusively? Since Nancy Grace has been covering it so much.

I agree I think it was code to Casey. I don't think he was Caylee's dad but i think he knows what Casey did and promised never to tell. He was so adament as he spoke CLA CLA. There had been reports of code in jail phone calls.

They keep replaying Cindy talking about Casey on Headline News. She said:

"It breaks my heart today that Casey's not with us today to honor her child, whom she loved so very very much. Casey I hope you are able to hear me today, I love you and I wish I could comfort you right now. I wish I could take away all of your pain and wipe away your tears. I want to thank you for giving me the greatest gift that I have ever received and that is for Caylee Marie."

I saw this and thought:

- Casey isn't there because she MURDERED her child and is awaiting trial to be convicted for it.

- Casey probably wasn't hearing you because according to Nancy Grace instead of watching the memorial for her DEAD child she was meeting with her lawyer, the one she is very close to .

- Casey did give Cindy the greatest gift, but brutally took it away and threw her away like trash .

sad to think of this but if all that was left were bones and no internal organs left then they would not. I think they would need the lungs or part of them to see if she swallowed any water

I thought the CMA thing was strange too. BUT, my dad used to call me by my first and middle initial, just as a silly nickname.

After listening to it, I wouldn't put it past Lee to send a message out to Casey via Caylee's public memorial.
