Continuing The Caylee Anthony Discussion Here - Thread #2

I visualize everything I read....oh...again, that poor baby....

It was deliberate.....if that poor baby was ALREADY dead, why the tape around the mouth, so I dont think it was an accident. SOme days I have to step away, think today is one of them:)

I think I need to do the same because it makes me very angry when someone says accident. I will never believ she did this on accident. It was deliberate and I hope Casey gets what she deserves. Those of us that have been here this whole time know Casey will get hers in the end.

One of the most important premises in the US is innocent until proven guilty. No matter what anyone thinks, she is entitled to her trial. Some people may think, me included, that Caylee drowned in the pool whi;le Casey was on the internet. Casey repeatedly tried on June 16th to contact both of her parents in a flurry of calls w/in a few minutes. Caylee may have been pulled out of the pool alive and Casey tried to revive her but couldn't, so she called her parents for help. Meanwhile, Caylee dies. Casey knows she'll be in trouble with the police for neglecting to watch Caylee, so in her panic, she begins a coverup.

If a jury goes in w/out prejudice, they may be convinced of either Casey's innocence- or may be just 1 juror because that is all it takes. The prosecution has been talking a good game but they have little evidence. A heart sticker? fingerprints on duct tape? garbage bags that match lot numbers from the Anthony home? a Winnie the Pooh blanket? All of these can be explained away by a good defense team. I've said before and I'll say it now-if I was on the jury with the evidence that I know about right now, I could not vote guilty because I'd have more than reasonable doubt.

You don't duct tape a childs mouth if they "accidently" fall in the pool.

I agree that you are innocent until proven guilty, however, I don't need a trial - I already know this sick person, Casey Anthony, is guilty of cold heartly murdering her child.

Accidents happen all of the time, but a normal person would call 911. People have been revived who have stopped breathing. This poor child wasn't accidentally put in a trash bag and thrown out like the garbage. As far as Casey's actions, a normal person would report their child missing and wouldn't go out partying like they don't have a care in the world. This was no accident.

This woman needs to rot in jail. Even that is too good for her. I wish there was a simple, legal way for these psychos to just drop off their children if they don't want them anymore. There are many people who would have gladly raised this sweet little girl.

This is what gets me every time......she deserved so much better....and every breath that Casey still takes.....belong to Caylee.

What proof is there to back up that she drowned in the pool? Panic beginning a cover up?? If you were in a panic, I don't think you would then deliberately put duct tape on the childs mouth and throw her in the trunk? Why were there traces of chloroform in the trunk if it was an accident?

Look at George and Cindy, they got the car back and George smelled the decomposition but didn't call the law? Cindy saw the dirty smelly clothes of Caseys and washed them? Cindy admitted to not giving law enforcement the brush that was soley Caylee's when asked the first time.

A heart sticker? fingerprints on duct tape? garbage bags that match lot numbers from the Anthony home? a Winnie the Pooh blanket? All of these can be explained away by a good defense team. I've said before and I'll say it now-if I was on the jury with the evidence that

A heart sticker could be traced back to the house.

Fingerprints on the duct tape would be very damaging, they would prove that the person who put the duct tape there applied it.

Garbage bags linked to the lot number at the Anthony home, again damaging (if this is proven, I haven't heard yet if they have linked it)

The Winnie the Pooh blanket? If they can trace it through the tag or some other way showing it was the one in her room, yes again damaging.

A good defense team could try to explain this away, but a good prosecuting team can put all the pieces of the puzzle together to show that Casey did this.

I think some of the most damaging things that Casey did was not reporting Caylee missing, but partying for those 31 days and by stealing her friends checks and going about life like she was having a great time. A person that has caused their child's death accidently would NOT act this way. There would be remorse, there would be guilt. With Casey, it has been "me me me", from some of the first jail house tapes where she gets mad at her mom for asking questions to "I am the victim" statements later on.

Casey had been lying for years about having a job. She had been stealing money from everyone including her grandparents, her parents, and even Caylee's piggy bank. She is a scheming liar. There was a huge fight between her parents and her right before Caylee died. I do not think this death was an accident at all.

No mother that truly cared about her child would double bag her and throw her away like that. Casey cares about no one but herself.

She makes me sick.

I don't think it was an accident for one min. I think Casey killed Caylee after the big fight she had with her mother on the 15th. We will know more when the trial starts.

One of the most important premises in the US is innocent until proven guilty. Yes, she is innocent till proven guilty in a court of law, doesn't mean that outside of the court of law that we have to do the same No matter what anyone thinks, she is entitled to her trial. Yes, she is entitled to her day in court and I am looking forward to the truth coming out...if Casey even knows what the truth is anymore Some people may think, me included, that Caylee drowned in the pool whi;le Casey was on the internet. Casey repeatedly tried on June 16th to contact both of her parents in a flurry of calls w/in a few minutes. Caylee may have been pulled out of the pool alive and Casey tried to revive her but couldn't, so she called her parents for help. Wouldn't he first call be to 911? What could her parents do for her? My thinking is she killed her after she couldn't get her parents to answer, more of an I'll show you type of thing, or maybe she wanted to go out and was calling them so much to see if they could watch Caylee, no answer? well then we have to use that chloroform and she used too much. Meanwhile, Caylee dies. Casey knows she'll be in trouble with the police for neglecting to watch Caylee, so in her panic, she begins a coverup. The thing is she wouldn't have been in trouble for neglect, kids unfortunately die by drowning and the parents aren't charged with neglect

If a jury goes in w/out prejudice, they may be convinced of either Casey's innocence- or may be just 1 juror because that is all it takes. True The prosecution has been talking a good game but they have little evidence. A heart sticker? fingerprints on duct tape? garbage bags that match lot numbers from the Anthony home? a Winnie the Pooh blanket? All of these can be explained away by a good defense team. And there is the problem, so far I don't see where she has all that great of a defense team. And to me all that evidence is pretty damning. Why would the child be in a garbage bag from your house and why would your fingerprints be on he duct tape if you weren't the one that put it on her. I've said before and I'll say it now-if I was on the jury with the evidence that I know about right now, I could not vote guilty because I'd have more than reasonable doubt.

I can say right now that I have no doubt she killed her, but I know I could go into a trial and listen to the evidence presented by oth sides and maybe change the way I feel if the defense could produce evidence or discredit the evidence. I just don't think the defense is going to be able to do that

I visualize everything I read....oh...again, that poor baby....

It was deliberate.....if that poor baby was ALREADY dead, why the tape around the mouth, so I dont think it was an accident. SOme days I have to step away, think today is one of them:)

Exactly, why go to lengths she did, why go out and party, why not just call 911 and say "she got out of the house and fell in the pool, she is not breathing." EMT's, paramedics etc would have been there in a heartbeat and maybe could have revived her...unless she was in the pool for so long that wasn't possible. But then again, if she was dead and she was just trying to cover it up..why the duct tape? And wouldn't they possibly be able to test for chlorine in the hair? The hair would have absorbed it wouldn't it?

I'm confused.:confused3 Where did this drowning in the pool theory come from? I've been reading this thread for months and haven't heard this before. What pool would Caylee have drowned in? They weren't living w/ George and Cindy at that time, right?

If an accident happens with a child you call 911..you don't dispose of your child in a trash bag.

The mother in this case is a self centered habitual liar and most sadly of all a killer.:guilty:

Wouldn't the autopsy have proven drowning if that was the case?

The pool thing came up very early in the whole thing when they were just starting to look for her. Yes, they were still living with George and Cindy. Casey never moved out.

sad to think of this but if all that was left were bones and no internal organs left then they would not. I think they would need the lungs or part of them to see if she swallowed any water

Yes, you call 911 for an accident. You dispose of the child in a trash bag when you did it.

I know that the Memorial is live on CNN, but I missed the beginning. Anyone know if it is online anywhere else so I can watch it from the start?

I hope God gives Cindy and George the peace they need during this trying time of their life. We all know they have much more grief in the future, facing the trial of their daughter, whether they believe she did it or not.

No, I cannot George! I will not pray for or write to Casey!

OH! I cannot watch this anymore! This is Caylee's Memorial....stop talking about Casey!
THis memorial would NOT be taking place if not for the actions of Casey!!! ugh!
I am going to the mall with my dd:)
