Hi Everyone,

We are honeymooning in July and are splitting our stay between the AKL and the Contempory. What is a good room choice at the Contempory? I am not interested in consierge, a little too expensive, but would like to hear some opinions!

Thanks

Congratulations!

Most people ask for a Tower room. ONe side faces the Magic Kingdom, the other Bay Lake. Both will suit your needs, although I think the Bay Lake side is the prettiest: you'll see the sun rise in the morning and the Electrical Water Pageant at night.

If you stay in one of the Garden buildings, ask for a first-floor patio. The patios are VERY secluded, and if you wind up with a lake view (highly recommended) you're getting one of the most underappreciated, least expensive rooms in all Disney.

Whether you opt for the Tower or Garden, you're getting a bargain. The Contemporary's standard rooms are the biggest on property.

Let us know what you decide :smooth:

After looking at the picture on your post - I'd suggest a Tower Park view room - nothing like watching the castle from your balcony.
